O presente estudo demonstrou que o protocolo do TF bi-set produziu um elevado GC comparado aos protocolos drop-set e tradicional. Adicionalmente, o e drop-set demonstrou um elevado GC em relação ao tradicional mas sem diferença significativa. Desta maneira, é possível concluir que utilizar protocolos de TF com manipulações nas séries que promovem maior estresse mecânico são mais eficazes para elevar o GC. Além disso, a técnica de conjugar exercícios se mostrou ainda melhor para essa condição. Cabe destacar que os protocolos drop-set e bi-set devem ser utilizados juntamente com a restrição alimentar quando o objetivo do treinamento for voltado a redução e/ou manutenção do peso corporal. A incorporação destes protocolos de TF podem beneficiar os praticantes que tem o objetivo de aumentar o GC e ter um volume fixo de exercícios com tempo disponível limitado.

O TF é uma estratégia plausível para a manutenção e para a redução do peso corporal, e cada protocolo tem suas vantagens e desvantagens, devendo ser usado de acordo com as necessidades e objetivos dos sujeitos.
