4. Considerações finais

A partir dos resultados encontrados nos artigos desenvolvidos nesta tese foi possível concluir que idosos usuários de PTs identificaram melhor a condição de suas próteses quando o critério estética foi avaliado; enquanto as informações autorrelatadas considerando os critérios funcionais (retenção, estabilidade, oclusão e dimensão vertical da oclusão) subestimaram as informações clínicas.

Ainda, foi possível concluir que a versão do PDA em português brasileiro (PDA-BR) demonstrou adequada consistência interna e confiabilidade no teste e reteste para todos os domínios do PDA. Os achados do estudo mostram que o PDA- BR parece ser um instrumento viável para avaliar as condições de PTs através do
