Master in Cognitive Science 2018/2019
The Master Program in Cognitive Science of the University of Lisbon has as its primary goal training a generation of cognitive scientists who can melt multiple existing disciplines into a new, genuinely integrated science of the mind/brain. To fulfil this goal, it gathers professors and researchers from: Neurosciences (Faculty of Medicine); Cognitive Psychology (Faculty of Psychology); Computer Science (Faculty of Sciences); Linguistics (Faculty of Letters); Philosophy of Mind and Cognition (Faculty of Letters).

2. Admission requirements:
2.1. Candidates must hold a bachelor degree or equivalent.
3. Admission procedure
3.1. The application must be submitted online at the website of the Faculty of Letters:

3.2 The application must include the following items:
a) Documents certifying the applicant meets the admission requirements mentioned above;
b) Up-to-date curriculum vitae, including publications and other relevant documented work;
c) Statement of research, specifying a research domain and the general intended attainable goals.
4. Selection Criteria
4.1. The applicants are selected through the analysis of the elements mentioned in 3.2. above.
4.2. The Scientific Committee of the Program, or those appointed by them, may decide to interview the applicants.
4.3. The applicants are chosen according to the score obtained in the selection process.

6. Fees
6.1. Each applicant must pay an enrollment fee of 55 Euros (non-refundable)
6.2 The annual fee for 2017-18, as defined by the General Council of the University of Lisbon, is 1200,00 euros. This fee can be fully paid on enrollment or gradually paid in nine instalments (the first of which on enrollment).
6.3. The fee is paid via ATM references provided by the academic portal of the Faculty of Letters or at the Serviços Financeiros of the Faculty of Letters (Alameda da Universidade, 1600-214 Lisboa) during office hours.
