Introdução

Introducon

Pursuing the objecves for which it was founded and fol- lowing the policy line of the Acon Plan for the Douro Re- gion Wine Cluster, ADVID has held several events aimed at the transfer and local development of knowledge produced in the wine sector. Example of these events include training courses (with or without public funding) and, more recent- ly, Seminars and Workshops with a strong praccal compo- nent, aimed at needs idenfied in the Demarcated Douro Region (Figure 1 and Table 1).

The training plans presented have been drawn up following prior assessment of needs and based also on surveys con- ducted among our members and Cluster partners.

Over the last years there has been a significant increase in the number of hours of training, as well as the number of students and parcipants in workshops and seminars, as can be seen in Figure 2 and Table 2).

In these acons, priority has been given to sessions in a work context, ensuring be0er transfer of knowledge and benefi1ng from our members’ commitment to providing venues and resources for these acons.
