The number stampPd on a f-:e,Ying l\larhine Part is the number of the Single Part only, except wlwu th·' pnrt indudcs ~et Screws, Clamping Screws, Studs and Hollers Spun on, Small Wires riveted, or Parts soldered together, etc., which it is necessary to furnish in combination.

Every combination of part; sent out has its specific number which, although not stamped on Parts (except in above cases) must be used when ordering the combination.

Each number alwayR inrlicatPs tlw SAME PART in whatever list it appears, or for whatever !\lachine.

The letters after some of the numbers indicate the style of finish only, as follows:

A. Hardened, Polished nml Plated.

B. Polished and Plated.

C. Hardened only.

D. Polished onlv.

E. Soft, not polisht-d.

F. Hardmed ami Polished.

H. 13lued.

These letters MUST BE USED when they appear 111 the list and AFTER the number, ns in the list.
