Abstract
The author presents the results of how newsreel and aerial photographs as valuable historical
documents were jointly used for creating the map
“эorodino эattlefield яuring the Great Patriotic
War of 1941
–мфпр”й
Particular attention is paid to the use of the frames of the German newsreel for
the detection and identification of anti-tank earthen barriers and military fortifications of the
Mozhaisk defensive line at Borodino battlefield.
