1. Apresentação / Presentation

A ADFA de Delegação de Évora organiza entre os dias 26 e 28 de Setembro de 2014 o XXII Campeonato Ibérico Feminino de Orientação Pedestre e II Meeting de Idanha-a-Nova.

Após o XVI Campeonato Ibérico de Orientação Pedestre 2008 e Portugal “O” Meeting 2013, Idanha-a-Nova volta a acolher uma grande competição, surgindo já como um concelho de referência para a modalidade.

O Campeonato Ibérico de Orientação Pedestre é uma competição onde se disputam os títulos de Sprint, Distância Média e Distância Longa entre atletas Portugueses e Espanhóis. Nos anos pares os títulos em femininos disputam-se em Portugal e os masculinos em Espanha, trocando nos anos ímpares.

Paralelamente ao Campeonato Ibérico Feminino decorrerá o I Meeting de Idanha-a-Nova, prova integrada no ranking da Taça de Portugal da Federação Portuguesa de Orientação, aberto a pessoas de qualquer idade, podendo participar nos escalões de competição ou nos escalões abertos, individualmente ou em grupo.

A organização dá as boas vindas a todos os participantes.

ADFA – Delegation of Évora organizes from 26th to 28th of September 2014 the XXII Female Iberian Championships of Foot Orienteering and the Meeting of Idanha-a-Nova.

After the XVI Iberian Championships of Foot Orienteering 2008 and Portugal “O” Meeting 2013, Idanha-a-Nova receives again one big competition, being already a reference county for the sport.

Iberian Championships of Foot Orienteering is competition where portuguese and spanish athletes compete for the Sprint, Middle distance and Long distance titles. In even years athletes compete for the feminine titles in Portugal and male in Spain, trading in odd years. Alongside the Female Iberian Championships will be held the I Meeting of Idanha-a-Nova, a competition counting for the Portuguese Orienteering Federation's Cup, open to people of any ages, that may participate in the competitions or open classes, individually, or in group.

The organization welcomes all participants.

O Município de Idanha-a-Nova, manifesta uma saudação muito especial à ADFA, bem como a todos os atletas e acompanhantes que vão participar neste grande momento desportivo que terá lugar no nosso concelho, esperando que esta passagem culmine não só em bons resultados desportivos, mas também numa excelente recordação da hospitalidade, dos valores patrimoniais que poderão usufruir assim que possível numa outra oportunidade de visita ao concelho.

Idanha-a-Nova already manifested a very special greeting to ADFA, all the athletes and companions who will participate in this great sport event that takes place in our county, hoping that this passage culminates not only in good sport results, but also an excellent reminder of hospitality and heritage that you may enjoy in another opportunity to visit our county.

4. Informações Gerais / General Informations

4.1 Model Event / Model Event:

O Model Event estará disponível a partir das 15h00 de dia 26 de Setembro, podendo os mapas serem levantados no Event Center a partir das 13h00.

Model Event will be available after 15h00 of September 26th, maps can be collected in Event Center after 13h00.

4.2 Alimentação / Eating place:

Haverá serviço de bar e restaurante a funcionar na arena do Cidral.

Bar and restaurant service will be available in the Cidral's arena.

4.3 Solo Duro / Hard Floor:

Solo duro estará disponível no Pavilhão Municipal de Idanha-a-Nova a partir das 19h00 de sexta-feira, dia 26 de Setembro de 2014, e terá um custo de 1,00€ por pessoa;

Os atletas deverão trazer saco-cama e colchão;

Faz-se um apelo ao civismo dos atletas para o rigoroso respeito pelo silêncio, regras de vivência neste tipo de espaço e extremos cuidados de higiene;

É expressamente proibido a utilização de calçado de competição no interior do pavilhão, incluindo sanitários; É expressamente proibido cozinhar ou comer dentro do pavilhão.

Hard Floor available in Idanha-a-Nova Sport Hall, from 19h00 Friday, September 26th, and will have a cost of 1,00€ per person; The athletes must bring sleeping bag and mattress;

The organization appeals for respect for municipal hall, mainly in terms of silence and hygiene care; It is strictly forbidden to wear competition shoes inside the municipal sports hall;

It is strictly forbidden to cook or eat inside the Sport Hall.

4.4 Peitorais / Official Bib:

Existirão peitorais oficiais do evento, cujo uso é obrigatório em todas as etapas; O Team Leader de cada clube terá obrigatoriamente que os levantar no secretariado;

Não será autorizada a partida/participação do atleta que não tiver o peitoral oficial do evento devidamente fixado no seu equipamento;

Em caso de extravio do peitoral o atleta deve proceder à sua substituição adquirindo uma 2ªa via no secretariado pelo preço de 2,00€.

There will be official bibs of the event, which use is mandatory in all event stages; Team Leaders of each team must pick up the bib number for their club;

A runner who doesn't have the official bib won't be allowed to start the race;

In case of loss the bib, the runner shall proceed to its substitution in the event office with a cost of 2,00€.

4.5 Horas de Partida / Start Times:

Não haverá alterações na hora de partida no próprio dia em escalões de competição.

It's not possible to change start time in the competition day.

4.6 Tempo Limite de Prova / Race Time Limits:

Tempo limite para cada percurso: 3 horas para a distância longa, 2 horas para a distância média e 1 hora para o sprint.

Race time limits for long distance is 3 hours, for middle distance is 2 hours and for sprint is 1 hour.

4.7 Baby-Sitting / Baby-Sitting:

Serviço de baby-sitting a funcionar na arena.

Baby-sitting service working in arena.

4.8 Secretariado / Event Office:

A funcionar no Event Center no Centro Cultural Raiano no dia 26 de Setembro e na arena nos restantes dois dias de competição.

Event Office located in the Event Center in Centro Cultural Raiano on September 26th and in arena in the two completion days.

4.9 Sistema de Controlo Electrónico / Electronic Control System:

O SportIdent (SI CARD) será o sistema de controlo electrónico utilizado nesta prova; Os SI Cards alugados deverão ser devolvidos no final da prova;

A perda ou não devolução do SI Card alugado implica a perda da caução de 30,00€ entregue no acto do levantamento; Caso o atleta altere o SI Card, tem obrigatoriamente, antes da sua partida, que oficializar essa alteração no Secretariado; Não serão autorizadas partidas de atletas, com alterações de dados, sem a devida validação no secretariado; Alterações têm o custo de 1,00€.

SportIdent (SI Card) will be the official punching system for the event; Rented SI Cards must be given back in the of end the event;

Losing or not returning the SI Card implicates the non devolution of the 30,00 € guarantee firstly handed; In case of a change of the competition's SI Card, it is compulsory to notify this change in the event office;

There won't be allowed the start of a runner who changed is SI Card number without previous notification of the secretariat; Changes implicates the payment of a 1,00 € tax.

4.10 Recolha de Mapas e Fair-Play / Map Collecting and Fair-Play:

Não haverá recolha de mapas no final dos percursos. Por esse facto apela-se ao fair-play de todos os participantes.

The maps won't be collected in the end of each race. Therefore, it is asked for the fair-play of all participants, in order not to show their maps to the competitors who haven't yet started.

4.11 Banhos / Showers:

4.12 Primeiros Socorros / First Aids Service:

A funcionar nas arenas. Caso se verifique a necessidade de cuidados acrescidos, será feita a evacuação para uma unidade de saúde identificada para o efeito.

First aid services working in the arena. In case of a serious injury, which needs more specific treatment, the patient will be transferred to the closest health care center.

No Campeonato Ibérico Feminino a classificação é definida pelo tempo efectuado em cada uma das 3 distâncias;

No II Meeting de Idanha-a-Nova a classificação final é definida pela soma dos pontos obtidos na distância média, sprint e distância longa.

In the Female Iberian Championships the classification is defined by the time performed in each of the three distances;

In the II Meeting of Idanha-a-Nova the final classification is defined by the sum of points obtained in the middle distance, sprint and long distance.

 Prémio para as 3 primeiras de cada escalão em cada uma das provas – Distância Média, Sprint e Distância Longa. II Meeting de Idanha-a-Nova

 Prémio para os 3 primeiros (5 primeiros em Elite) atletas de todos os escalões de competição (Esta classificação é obtida através do somatório dos pontos das 3 etapas – Distância Média, Sprint e Distância Longa);

 H/D 10 e 12 não terão prémio de classificação, sendo que todos serão chamados para receber uma lembrança;  Medalhas para os vencedores dos escalões abertos;

Perante qualquer caso omisso no regulamento da FPO será aplicado o regulamento da IOF.

Terreno de carvalho com muitos detalhes rochosos e de difícil progressão, alternando com zonas de fácil progressão. Desnível moderado.

Moderatelly hilly oak terrain, full of rocky details. Runnability alterning between very slow and fast. Moderated climb.

Estacionamento / Parking:

O estacionamento terá lugar junto à arena. Autocarros terão estacionamento a 150m da arena: Em todos os locais deverão respeitar as indicações dos elementos da organização.

The parking will be near the arena. Buses have a parking place 150 meters away from arena; In all places you should follow the instructions given by the organization staff.

6. Arena - Monsanto (Sprint)

Terreno / Terrain:

Mapa composto por 2 zonas distintas, uma urbana com enorme rede de ruas estreitas e a outra com o castelo de Monsanto e grande densidade de detalhes rochosos. Se ainda não visitou, depois da prova vai certamente querer ver esta espantosa terra com mais atenção.

Map with 2 very different arenas, one urban area with a lot of narrow streets and other with the castel of Monsanto and a lot of rocky details.

If you did not visit it yet, for sure you will want to see better and slowly this amazing place.

Estacionamento / Parking:

Devido às condicionantes de acesso à aldeia histórica de Monsanto, o estacionamento na localidade de Relva a cerca de 1.500 metros da Quarentena;

Pede-se que levem os carros com o máximo numero de pessoas de forma a facilitar o estacionamento a todos.

Due to traffic constraints in the access to the historic village of Monsanto, the car parking will be in the village of Relva, about 1.500 meters from Quarentine;

Please have the cars filled with the maximum number of people, in order to make the parking easier for all.

Informação Adicional / Additional Information:

Não é permitido o uso de sapatilhas com bicos metálicos, no entanto aconselha-se o uso de sapatilhas com tracção, especialmente se o tempo estiver chuvoso.

The use of shoes with metal tips are not allowed, however we recommend the use of shoes with traction, especially if the weather is rainy.
