655 My dear Parishioners,
We are near the end of Lent, and the Gospel of this weekend tells us of the woman caught in adultery. This reading shows us the loving face of Jesus, full of wisdom, which says that the one who has no sin should be
the first to accuse and stone the woman.
During this time of conversion we should ask ourselves if we don't do the same as those people who judge and want to find someone to pay for all sins.
Jesus already paid for all sins, and the price was his death, and the cross. In Jesus all of our weaknesses were registered and redeemed. Let's live conscious of this here in our parish, aware of this time of pardon and mercy, filled with peace and love.
We had our parish retreat last week and it was a blessing. For the first time we had members of our pastoral activities giving the conferences, and this was a grace of God. There were many witnesses of a life given to the service of our community.
May this next to the last week of Lent bring you the conversion necessary to grow in the Holy Spirit.

Queridos Paroquianos,
Estamos no término da quaresma, e o Evangelho deste final de semana fala sobre a mulher pega em adultério. A leitura mostra a face amorosa e cheia de sabedoria de Jesus que diz que aquele que não tiver pecado deve ser o primeiro a acusar e apedrejar a mulher.
Neste tempo de conversão devemos nos perguntar se muitas vezes não fazemos o mesmo que aquelas pessoas, que julgam e querem escolher alguém para pagar por todos os pecados.
Jesus já pagou por cada um deles, e o preço foi a morte, a cruz. Nele todas as nossas fraquezas foram listadas e redimidas.
Que vivamos isto em nossa paróquia, um tempo de perdão e misericórdia cheio de paz e amor.
Tivemos nosso retiro semana passada e foi uma benção, pela primeira vez tivemos membros das nossas pastorais dando as palestras e foi uma graça de Deus. Muitos testemunhos de vida que se colocaram à serviço de nossa
comunidade.
Que esta penúltima semana da quaresma possa trazer para você a conversão necessária para crescermos no Espírito Santo.
Que Deus te abençoe muito.
