"The body in the landscape: rites and beliefs in the Bronze Age Northwest Iberian Peninsula ", project submitted and approved by the "Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia-FCT" with the reference (SFRH/BSAB/650/2006). Developed under a Sabbatical Scholarship (Concluded in December 2007). "The Entre-Douro-e-Minho landscape since middle of 3th to the end of 2nd

"The metallurgy of bronze during the Proto-History of Entre-Douro-e-Minho" with the reference HIST/01/PI.6. Project submitted and funded by the Research Centre "Centro de Ciências Históricas e Sociais da Universidade do Minho-CCHS" (Concluded in December 2003).

"The Late Bronze Age communities in the middle Cávado river basin: regularities and specificities", individual project registered and supported by the Research Centre "Centro de Ciências Históricas e Sociais da Universidade do Minho-CCHS". This project resulted in his doctoral thesis entitled "The landscape and man in the river Cávado basin, during the 2nd and 1st millennia BC"
