CD17.R26: Collection of quota contributions

THE 17th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having considered the report on the collection of quota contributions (Document CD17/22), as well

as the information and comments on quotas contained in the Financial Report of the Director and

the Report of the External Auditor for 1966 (Official Document 75);

Noting that the rate of payment of quota arrears is lower that in the previous year;

Recognizing that the rate of collection of current quotas has improved but is still too low;

Considering the importance of the prompt and full payment of quota contributions to assure

financial support of the entire approved program,

RESOLVES

1. To take note of the report on the collection of quota contributions (Document CD17/22) and the

information and comments on quotas contained in the Financial Report of the Director and the

Report of the External Auditor for 1966 (Official Document 75).

2. To commend Governments for the progress made in paying current quotas and urge them to

renew their efforts in this respect.

4. To commend the Dire for his efforts to improve the level of quota payments and recommend that

he continue to keep Governments informed of the status of quota payments.
