Proposta

Esta disciplina condensa, em um programa de leitura que não se pretende exaustivo, conteúdos que devem

ser expandidos pel@s estudantes em momento oportuno.

A ordem da exposição parte de dois pressupostos.

Por um lado, refuta-se uma narrativa da história da antropologia a partir das chamadas “escolas”. Por outro,

entende-se que não afugentamos o chamado “presentismo” ao desafiar uma exposição cronológica

aparentemente “ascendente”.

A fim de contornar esses dois problemas, procuraremos discutir os posicionamentos políticos e

epistemológicos presentes nas obras lidas, identificar seus instrumentos conceituais e metodológicos e suas

relações com certos debates teóricos e tradições de pesquisa.

O panorama proposto visa demonstrar a centralidade de renovadas pesquisas etnográficas para a

transformação da disciplina.

A disciplina tenciona, portanto, que @s estudantes possam subsidiar suas pesquisas com uma formação

básica em teoria antropológica.

Avaliação

Este curso sustenta-se na leitura de textos a serem discutidos em sala de aula.

A presença a 75% das aulas é condição necessária para a avaliação d@s estudantes.

A avaliação terá por base dois instrumentos.

1. A cada sessão, serão antecipadamente designadas duas pessoas: uma para “discutir” o material

bibliográfico da aula e outra para “contextualizar” a produção em análise. A participação nessas duas

“posições” (discutindo e contextualizando) responde por 30% da nota final;

2. Na última aula deve ser apresentada oralmente uma proposta de trabalho final, com uma discussão

conceitual e metodológica (até 2mil palavras). Esse esboço deve ser elaborado posteriormente para

uma versão final (de até 4 mil palavras). A versão final deve ser entregue até o dia XXXX. A menção

atribuída ao trabalho final responde por 70% da nota final.
