PROVISIONAL DRAFT OF THE PROGRAM AND BUDGET OF THE PAN AMERICAN HEALTH nRGANIZATION FOR 1979
The Executive Committee at its 78th Meeting reviewed in detail the provisional draft of the proposed program and budget estimates of the Pan American Health Organization for 1979 presented in Official Document 148.
It adopted the following resolution:
rHE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE,
Having examined Official Document 148 submitted by the Director, which contains the provisional draft that is to constitute the basis for the preparation of the proposed program and budget estimates of the Pan American Health Organization for 1979, to be considered by the Executive Committee at its 80th Meeting and by the XX Pan American Sanitary Conference; and
Recognizing that the provisional draft of the proposed program and
budget estimates contains much needed projects formulated in cooperation with the national authorities,
RESOLVES:
1. To take note of the provisional draft of the proposed program and budget estimates of the Pan American Health Organization for 1979 appearing
in Official Document 148.
2. To request the Director to use the provisional draft as a basis for the preparation of the proposed program and budget estimates for 1979, after further consultations with the Governments to determine their latest desires and requirements in relation to the health priorities of the countries.
