RESOLUTION

CD4.R3

PROGRAM AND BUDGET FOR THE PAN AMERICAN SANITARY

BUREAU FOR 1952

THE 4th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Considering that it is desirable that the Governments of the Member States know well in advance

the amount of their contributions so that they may include them in their respective budgets; and

Considering that it is desirable that the Pan American Sanitary Bureau know well in advance the

funds available for carrying out its programs so that it may plan them [on a timely basis] and

contract the technical personnel that will be in charge of them,

RESOLVES

1. To take note of Document CD4/PP/8, and to compliment the Director of the Bureau on the

preparation of the budgets two years in advance.

2. To instruct the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau to distribute this document to the

3. To present this document, with the comments of the Governments, to the Executive Committee

for consideration at its 13th Meeting in Washington.
