To serve you better!

This is our goal. To accomplish that, we have recently decided to become bigger. Thanks to our contributors, which includes readers, authors, members of the Editorial Board, referees and staff, JAOS felt the need to increase the number of issues published per year. As the number and quality of the submissions increase, we

have to provide room for publication. To avoid compromising the time length between submission and publication of accepted articles, we have taken some actions that include increasing the number of issues from 4 to 6 per

year and increasing the number of referees to help us selecting the very best for our readers.

Apart from that, we need feedback information from you. It is our intention to inaugurate a new section in the journal: Letters to the Editor

Those who are accustomed to the international literature readily understand the importance of such a section in the journal. It is the section in which readers can express their feelings not only about the journal, but also about the published material. If you read an article and have any comments, suggestions or criticism to make to the authors, share it with everybody. Write to the Editor and we will forward your letter to the author, who will be invited to reply accordingly. Both letters will be published in the forthcoming issue. I myself have learned a lot by reading letters to the Editors in several journals available. The Editor also welcomes comments, suggestions and criticism to the journal, which will be properly responded when required. We want to hear from you.
