FINAL REPORT

The 100th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Pan American Health Organization was held at the Headquarters building in Washington, D.C., on 25 September 1987, as convened by the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau.

OPENING OF THE MEETING

Dr. Norman Gay (Bahamas), Chairman of the 99th Meeting, declared the meeting open. He welcomed the Representatives of E1 Salvador, Panama and Uruguay, which had been elected to the Committee on expiration of the terms of office of Brazil, Colombia and Honduras.

The provisional agenda (Document CEiO0/1) was adopted.

DECISIONS

1. The terms of office of Brazil and Colombia having expired, the Executive Committee elected Argentina and Bahamas as members of the Subcommittee on Planning and Programming.

2. The terms of office of Brazil and Honduras having expired, the Executive Committee elected E1 Salvador and Uruguay members of the Special Subcommittee on Women, Health and Development.

3. The terms of office of Colombia and Honduras having expired, the Executive Committee elected Panama and the United States of America

members of the Standing Subcommittee on Inter-American Nongovernmental Organizations.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Chairman of the Executive Committee and the Secretary ex officio, Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau, sign this Final Report in the English and Spanish languages, both texts being equally authentic.

DONE in Washington, D.C., United States of America, this twenty-fifth day of September, nineteen hundred and eighty-seven. The Secretary shall deposit the original text in the archives of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau and shall send copies thereof to the Governments of the Organization.
