Therecentreporton‘‘Oralmanifestationsofdengueviral infection’’ is very interesting.1 _{Fernandes et al. noted}

on‘‘uncommon oral manifestations’’ in dengue.1 _{In fact,}

dengue is a highly endemic infection in many tropical countries.IntropicalSoutheastAsia,thisinfectionis very common.IwouldliketosharetheexperiencefromThailand, aCountrywithextremelyhighprevalenceondengue.The oralmanifestationofdengueisverycommonbutitisusually mildandcanbemisdiagnosedbyothertropicaloro-dental problem.2,3_{Oro-dentalbleedingisacommonbleeding}

pre-sentation in denguebut it is usually notinvestigated and recorded.2 _{It should be noted that oral manifestation in}

dengueisnotuncommon butusuallyforgottenbythe gen-eralpractitioner.
