In this study we investigate the perception high school students have about the use of educational practices favorable to creativity and motivation in mathematics by their teachers. The results also indicated a relationship between students’ perception of the use of strategies to develop creativity in the classroom by their Mathematics teacher and motivation in Mathematics, between motivation in Mathematics and academic achievement, and between student`s perception of teaching practices for creativity and academic achievement in Mathematics.
