EDITORIAL

A novelty and many perspectives

It is with great pride that we announce the signing of an agreement between the Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plás-tica (Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery) – SBCP and Wolters Kluwer, to make available Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery) RBCP content on the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS) website (http://journals.lww.com/plasreconsurg/pages/default.aspx).

The PRS website, which includes journal content, videos, and other such tools for researchers to present their research, will now provide a link to the PDF content of the latest issue of RBCP in each quarter. This content is available free of cost to everyone visiting the website.

Owing to the efforts of the current board, this agreement will bring innumerable advantages to SBCP members. These advantages include the availability of full-text RBCP content on the PRS website, the ability to ind RBCP articles by using search tools offered by the website, and free access to a limited number of PRS articles for BSPS members.

The entire content of the RBCP website (www.rbcp.org.br), including previous issues as well as the Portuguese and English current edition of the Journal, will continue to be available free of cost with no changes.

The highlight of this agreement, most certainly, is the possibility to increase the reach of our journal. A substantial im-provement in the availability of RBCP internationally to researchers would allow us to receive a higher number of articles. This is essential to be indexed in Medline, which is our next aim.
