Topic 26t ELECTION OF TWO MEMBER COUNTRIES TO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ON

TEhMINVATION OF THE PERIODS OF OFFICE OF MEXICO AND VENEZUELA

Pursuant to Article 13-A of the Constitution of the Pan American Health Organization, the Executive Committee

"tshall be composed of seven Member Governments elected by the Council for overlapping terms of three years ... A Member

Government shall not be eligible for reelection to the Executive Committee until one year has elapsed."

The following table shows the composition of the Executive Committee together with the expiration dates of the terms of the present Members:

It is incumbent upon the Directing Council, in conformity with

Article 13-A of the Constitution, to elect two Member Countries to replace

Mexico and Venezuela on the Executive Committee.
