Take Heart

• For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked (Rev. 3:17).

 The natural person does not accept the things of the

Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually

 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me (Rev. 3:20).

 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,

“Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to

them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins,

and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:37-38).

46 And they came to Jericho. And as he was leaving Jericho

with his disciples and a great crowd, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside.

 Et ils arrivent à Jéricho; et comme il sortait de Jéricho avec

ses disciples et une grande foule, Bartimée l'aveugle, le fils de Timée, était assis sur le bord du chemin et mendiait.

 Depois chegaram a Jericó. E, ao sair ele de Jericó com seus

discípulos e uma grande multidão, estava sentado junto do caminho um mendigo cego, Bartimeu filho de Timeu.

 And hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what this

meant. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” (Luke 18:36-37).

47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he

began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

 Et ayant entendu dire que c'était Jésus le Nazarénien, il se mit à crier et à dire: Fils de David, Jésus, aie pitié de moi!

 Este, quando ouviu que era Jesus, o nazareno, começou a clamar, dizendo: Jesus, Filho de Davi, tem compaixão de mim!

• And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David (Matt. 15:22).

48 And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But

he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

 Et plusieurs le reprirent afin qu'il se tût; mais il criait d'autant plus fort: Fils de David! aie pitié de moi!

 E muitos o repreendiam, para que se calasse; mas ele clamava ainda mais: Filho de Davi, tem compaixão de mim.

Take Heart

 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven (matt. 10:32)

 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord

and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved (Rom. 10:9-10).

49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” And they

called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart. Get up; he is calling you.”

 Et Jésus, s'arrêtant, dit qu'on l'appelât; et ils appellent l'aveugle, lui disant: Aie bon courage, lève-toi, il t'appelle

Parou, pois, Jesus e disse: Chamai-o. E chamaram o

cego, dizendo-lhe: Tem bom ânimo; levanta-te, ele te chama.

50 And throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to

Jesus.

 Et jetant loin son vêtement, il se leva en hâte et s'en vint à Jésus

 Nisto, lançando de si a sua capa, de um salto se levantou e foi ter com Jesus.

51 And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do

for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Rabbi, let me recover my sight.”

 Et Jésus, répondant, lui dit: Que veux-tu que je te fasse? Et l'aveugle lui dit: Rabboni, que je recouvre la vue.

 Perguntou-lhe o cego: Que queres que te faça? Respondeu-lhe o cego: Mestre, que eu veja.

52 And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith

has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

 Et Jésus lui dit: Va, ta foi t'a guéri; et aussitôt il recouvra la vue, et il le suivit dans le chemin.

 Disse-lhe Jesus: Vai, a tua fé te salvou. E imediatamente recuperou a vista, e foi seguindo pelo caminho.
