Objetivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências)
Espera-se que no final do processo de ensino-aprendizagem os alunos sejam capazes de:
Conhecer as diferentes fases do processo de escrita Reconhecer diferentes tipologias textuais
Identificar diferentes géneros discursivos
Planificar, redigir e rever os seus próprios textos, tendo em conta as funções comunicativas e os conteúdos de língua previstos neste programa
Produzir textos escritos que revelem a adopção de um estilo próprio

Componentes e fases do processo de escrita
Revisão das características de diferentes tipologias de texto (narração, descrição, exposição) Análise das caracteríticas sócio-comunicativas de géneros discursivos selecionados
Funções comunicativas Expressing attitudes and feelings Defending a point of view
Conteúdos de Língua (a explorar tendo em conta as necessidades dos alunos):
Word building through prefixes and suffixes Synonyms/antonyms
Formal and informal registers Linking devices, logical markers

Metodologias de ensino (avaliação incluída)
Nas aulas T e TP serão explorados colaborativamente exemplos de diversos tipos de textos escritos em língua inglesa, assim como serão realizadas atividades de produção escrita que privilegiarão a reflexão subjacente a cada momento do processo de produção escrita. Nas sessões de OT, assim como no espaço e no horário de atendimento, será disponibilizado apoio a grupos de alunos para a realização de trabalhos ou para esclarecimentos adicionais sobre conteúdos programáticos. O regime de avaliação contínua requer a obrigatoriedade de assiduidade a 75% das aulas. Só os alunos que optaram por esse regime serão admitidos a exame de época normal, cuja classificação é a média aritmética simples entre a classificação da avaliação contínua e a classificação do exame de época normal, se superior a 9,5 valores.
Todos os alunos inscritos podem submeter-se a exame de época de recurso.
Avaliação contínua: média aritmética simples das classificações obtidas nos textos produzidos para avaliação.

The students intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) It is expected that at the end of the teaching-learning process the students will be able to:
know the different stages of the writing process to recognize different types of texts
Identify different discursive genres
planning, drafting and reviewing their own texts, taking into account the communicative functions and content provided in this program produce written texts that reveal the adoption of their own style
Syllabus
Components and phases of the writing process
Review the characteristics of different types of text (narration, description, exposition) Analysis of features of socio-communicative selected discursive genres
Communicative functions expressing attitudes and feelings Defending points of view
Contents of language (taking into account the needs of the students):
Word building through prefixes and suffixes Synonyms/antonyms
Formal and informal registers Linking devices, logical markers
Markers to structure and signpost formal and informal speech and writing
Teaching methodologies (including evaluation)
In T and TP classes students will explore collaboratively examples of various types of texts written in the English language. In this classes it will be carried out activities of writing aiming reflection on every moment of the process of writing. In the sessions of OT, as well as in tutorials, the teacher will be available to assist groups of students for independent study or for further clarification on content. Continuous assessment requires the obligation of attendance at 75% of the lessons. Only those students who have opted for this scheme will be allowed to take normal season, whose classification is the simple arithmetic average between the classification of continuous assessment and the classification of the examination of normal season, if greater than 9.5. All registered students may submit themselves to take exame de recurso.
Continuous evaluation: simple arithmetic average of the classifications obtained in the texts produced for assessment.
