RESOLUTIONS OF THE WORLD HEALTH ASSEMBLY OF

INTEREST TO THE REGIONAL COMMITTEE

THE 20th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having seen Document CD20/3, in which the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau

submits to the attention of the Regional Committee of the World Health Organization for the

Americas several resolutions adopted by the Twenty-fourth World Health Assembly;1 and

Bearing in mind that some of the subjects to which the World Health Assembly resolutions refer

are already included in the agenda of this meeting of the Regional Committee while the others are

related to programs currently being carried out,

RESOLVES

To take note of the following resolutions contained in Document CD20/3:

WHA24.30: Occupational health programs.

WHA24.31: Development of the medical use of ionizing radiation.

WHA24.36: Disinsection of aircraft.

WHA24.47: Problems of the human environment.

WHA24.49: Strategy for health during the Second United Nations Development Decade.

WHA24.55: Community water supply.

WHA24.59: Training of national health personnel.
