novo corpo editorial

2008 was a year of change for the editorial board of Revista Brasileira de Psiquiatria (RBP). To avoid discontinuity, Dr Luis Augusto Rohde remained as an editor to help with this transition. It was a great pleasure to enjoy Dr Rohde’s company, efficiency and generosity throughout 2008. We want to thank all previous editors of RBP, especially Dr Jair Mari, Eurípedes Miguel and Luis Rohde who were leaders of this process of internationalization of RBP so that it became the medical journal with the highest impact factor in Latin America.

The new editorial board expects to be able to keep the constant growth and modernization of RBP in order to accomplish its missions of conveying the best clinical information and providing the national scientific production with greater visibility.

Our goral as editors is to remain in the same route establi-shed for RBP by the previous editorial board. We will always hope for the contribution of Brazilian researchers, either as authors or reviewers, trying to fulfill the scientific needs of the Brazilian Psychiatry both in the research field and in the clinical practice.
