10th SESSION OF THE REGIONAL COMMITTEE

THE 10th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having examined Official Document 21 submitted by the Director of the Pan American Sanitary

Bureau and containing the provisional draft of the Proposed Program and Budget of the Pan

American Sanitary Organization for 1959;

Taking into account the observations made by the working party that, at the request of the Directing

Council, examined this document; and

Taking into account the fact that the provisional draft, when approved, will serve as the basis for the

preparation of the Proposed Program and Budget of the Pan American Sanitary Organization for

1959 to be submitted to the 34th Meeting of the Executive Committee for consideration, and to the

XV Pan American Sanitary Conference in 1958 for final approval,

RESOLVES

To take note of the provisional draft of the Proposed Program and Budget of the Pan American

Sanitary Organization for 1959, and to transmit it to the Executive Committee, making special

reference to the content of the report of the working party that examined this document.
