 University degree in Food Engineering by the University of Hortofruticulture and Food Industry, Budapest, Hungary, 1993, 4/5. Thesis title: Evaluation of aromatic compounds in fermented bread dough.

Analytical chemistry with focus on environmental, food and bioprocess monitoring applications.

Actual research interests:

 Application of flow based methodologies for monitoring of bio-processes for control and biological treatment of liquid effluents and fitoremediation.

 The use of the multicommutation technique in flow methodologies coupled with atomic absorption spectrophotometer as a detection system; applications related to food quality and safety and/or environmental contaminants.

 Development of flow based sensor systems for the determination of quality related emerging parameters (or contaminants) in foodstuffs.
