17th SESSION OF THE REGIONAL COMMITTEE

Washington D.C., September 27 – 8 October 1965

RESOLUTION

CD16.R27

BUILDINGS FUND AND SPECIAL FUND FOR HEALTH

PROMOTION

THE 16th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Considering that both the agreement with the W. K. Kellogg Foundation and the authorization by

the XIII Meeting of the Directing Council in Resolution XVI for the establishment of the Special

Fund for Health Promotion envisaged the possibility of allocating a larger amount of funds to the

Special Fund for Health Promotion than the minimum required under that agreement; and

Taking into account that a balance that could be used for program activities undoubtedly will

remain in the Building Fund,

RESOLVES

To authorize contributions from the Building Fund of the Pan American Health Organization to the

Special Fund for Health Promotion under such conditions and in such amounts as may be

authorized by the Executive Committee.
