The seminar is being organized by the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) and the Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas (ASBA).

Registration process (participants only):

1. Request your training coordinator an access account for the Activities Manager.

2. Once you have a username and password, access the Activities Manager through the following link http://asbaweb.net

3. Complete your profile and personal information.

4. Apply during the established registration period.

5. For more information, download the User´s Manual from the Activities Calendar in the Association´s web page.

4. RESERVATION PROCEDURES

Hotel and flight bookings, obtaining an entry visa, as well as any vaccinations whenever required, are responsibility of each participant.

6. TRANSPORTATION

a) Airport – hotel – airport transportation is responsibility of each participant.

b) It is safe to take a taxi in São Paulo´s airport. The estimated rate is R$160,00 (USD 51.00) from Guarulhos and R$60,00 (USD 20.00) from Congonhas airport.

7. WEATHER

During the Seminar, temperatures in São Paulo will range between 79°F maximum and 63° F minimum.

8. VISA

Visa requirements vary according to the country of origin; thus, participants are advised to verify these requirements at their local Embassy or Consulate.

Participants are recommended to visit the above mentioned web page to verify the need to present an International Vaccination Certificate for yellow fever. If the Certificate is not presented, participants may not be able to take their flight or may not be allowed to enter Brazil. The yellow fever vaccine is required at least 10 days prior the travel date. Those vaccinated 10 years ago require a booster.

9. CURRENCY

The local currency is the Real (R$), with a variable exchange rate. Kindly refer to the following link:

Exchange rates are indicative, varying where the change is made.

The exchange can be done at the airport, some hotels and local banks (open from 10:00 am to 16:00 hours). For daily transactions only Reales (R$) are accepted.

10. DRESS CODE

Formal attire is mandatory during the opening and closing ceremonies. The other days casual attire is accepted (jeans and tennis shoes are not acceptable).

11. LANGUAGE

Spanish and English are the official languages for the Seminar. Simultaneous interpretation services will be available.
