RESOLUTION

CD24.R16

PAHO AWARD FOR ADMINISTRATION

THE 24th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having considered the report of the Award Committee of the PAHO Award for Administration

(Document CD24/9 and Annex); and

Bearing in mind the regulations set forth in the Procedures governing the PAHO Award for

Administration,

RESOLVES

1. To declare Dr. Ernani Guilherme Fernandes da Motta of Brazil the winner of the 1976 PAHO

Award for Administration.

2. To urge the Member Governments to promote the improvement of their health administration

services by nominating candidates for the PAHO Award for Administration.
