ABOUT US
To create a robust, evidence-driven bottom-up approach to support EU-China cooperation on sustainable urbanisation.
THE VISION
Promote cross-cultural communication, understanding and collaboration between stakeholders from both continents,
Aid European and Chinese partners in identifying common goals, priorities, and challenges in implementing sustainable urban solutions
Improve coordination and complementarity between European and Chinese cities, Provide comparable samples of empirical and statistical data where applicable Create efficient and accessible channels to consolidate and transfer outcomes of activities to and from others,
Provide European and Chinese stakeholders with the opportunity to learn first-hand what sustainable urbanisation services and infrastructures require

Afternoon session: INDUSTRY WORKSHOP Open to EU-China Industry stakeholders
This workshop will provide a platform for comprehensive and in-depth dialogues on innovative and sustainable urbanisation among policy makers, government officials, think tanks, research institutes, industry
associations and companies from both China and Europe.
Morning session: FORESIGHT WORKSHOP
Open to EU-China stakeholders from public and private sector The Foresight Workshop will offer an opportunity for European and Chinese urban stakeholders to discuss their experiences and visions on
what EU and China could achieve by cooperating on sustainable urbanisation. During the workshop, the participants will discuss transition
pathways that could connect long-term visions with the operational realities of Chinese and European cities, and define possible targets, enablers, challenges, instruments and success criteria to be included in the framework of the EU-China Partnership on Sustainable Urbanisation.

Please contact coordinator@urbaneuchina.eu to obtain the fill-in form and we will forward the request. You will also need a visa and you can apply for the visa at the Consulate of P. R. China in
your country or through a Travel agency.
The airport in Beijing is the Capital International Airport. To get from the airport and to the city centre, you may use several means of transport.
Please check your flight ticket for which Terminal you will arrive and plan your forward travel from there. For this and more info:

If you have not decided on which hotel to stay yet, we can recommend the Xinjiang Plaza (新疆⼤厦). Our partner CAUPD has kindly organised a good
