In order to meet the participation requirement as referred to in the second paragraph, the. To meet the requirement of adequate health care as mentioned in the first paragraph, chapter 5.1 of the NORSOK U-100N standard should be used for manned underwater operations. To meet the technical condition requirement referred to in the third paragraph, the NORSOK Z-006 standard must be used for conservation.

In order to meet the requirements for technical operations, the documents as specified in the second subsection, letter b, chapter 4 and appendices A, C and D of the standard NORSOK Z-001 must be used. In order to meet the requirements for procedures as set out in the second subsection, Chapter 8.2 of the NORSOK U-100N standard should be used for manned underwater operations. In order to meet the requirements for use as stated in the first subsection, the NORSOK Z-015N standard must be used for temporary equipment.

In connection with the organization as mentioned in the first subsection, the NORSOK S-002N standard, chapters 5.1 and 5.2 (the principles and the organization part) should be used. To avoid exposure as mentioned in the 1st paragraph, the rules on work behavior should be applied.

MAINTENANCE

Plans for and results of monitoring of the external environment must be reported to the Norwegian Environmental Authority in accordance with Article 34 of the Management Regulations. The scope of the investigations, referred to in the first paragraph, under a, depends, among other things, on the distance to previously investigated areas and the soil conditions. The scope of the investigations, referred to in the first paragraph, letter b, depends, among other things, on what vulnerable environmental values ​​(species and habitats) can be expected in the area.

In order to fulfill the requirement for the establishment of preparedness as mentioned in the first subsection, the NORSOK U-100N standard, chapters 5.1.5 and 9, should be used for staffing. The results of the environmental risk and preparedness analysis and the description of planned preparedness, as mentioned in the 1st paragraph, must be submitted as part of the application for a permit under the Pollution Act (only in Norwegian). Contractual cooperation as mentioned in the 1st subsection means, for example, entering into agreements on joint emergency plans or agreements to use other people's emergency resources to ensure optimal preparedness in the event of major emergency incidents within an area or region.
