A modeling method ofthe Steinmetz equivalent diagram elements corresponding to the Eddy current losses from a single-phase transformer is proposed. The analytical calculations were carried out based on the transformer shell form. The obtained results can be employed for the calculation ofthe active loss in an electromagnetic domain of other forms such core form and toroidal form. However, the results do not include the hysteresis loss. The characteristic of alloy constituting the core is not given. Collaboration with manufacturers of sheets for the electric machines to have fuller information is necessary. A good correlation between the practical and theoretical results was verified with the proposed approach. The iron resistance and reactance are clarified analytically according to the geometrical and electromagnetic data ofthe core. Consequently, using the different powers in no load and short-circuit test, the article expressed the elements empirically given by Steinmetz. Finally, all the elements ofthe Steinmetz equivalent diagram can be calculated analytically. In thefuture, we expect to extend the proposed model to the larger fields of applications as electrical rotating machines modeling.
One potential explanation for finding no impact of Pro-Gavião is that there were other rural development programs taking place in Bahia at the same time, and these might have differentially affected the control AMCs. The World Bank, for example, invested heavily in rural poverty alleviation programs throughout the Northeast of Brazil in this period. Because IFAD was investing in these 13 municipalities, other programs might have left these locations alone and targeted other —almost as needy—municipalities. This would imply that our control group based on non-neighbors would not have represented the counterfactual of zero program intervention, but rather the counterfactual of no PG intervention. This would alter the interpretation of our results. To address this issue, we were able to gather administrative data from the state government of Bahia on spending in PG and neighboring locations. Although it was not possible to verify this hypothesis for the complete set of 54 municipalities analyzed, we did succeed in obtaining information from 25 municipalities in the River Gavião region (13 PG municipalities and 12 ofthe closest neighbors). This can help to provide evidence about how important PG was in relation to the other programs.
Annotation. Purpose: identify components ofthe readiness ofthefuturephysical education specialist to valeological activity in preschool education. Material: a review and theoretical analysis ofthe scientific literature. Results: defines the general and special competence, the individual components. The degree of their relationship in the process of preparing an instructor ofphysical education in preschool education. Theoretically proved that the readiness ofthefuture specialist organization based on skill valeological activities (including major tasks specific functions and values valeological culture). Such an organization implies unity of general and special components health-preserving technologies. Conclusions: the process of forming a professional portrait valeological instructor in physical education in pre-school educational institution should provide its willingness to valeological activities. This is based on the awareness of its organization and unity of general and special health- technology components.
In the work we assume that the first stage of solidification isthe same for both modified and unmodified alloys. Thus, the same dendritic nucleation density is used in both cases. However, we should keep in mind that modifier may affect the dendritic structure formation. In the second stage ofthe solidification, the nucleation process unfolds in slightly different way, depending on the eutectic transformation mode. In such case nucleation phenomena depends on different densities and different algorithms, as explained in Part I. The authors ofthe series of papers [3, 6, 7] investigated solidification of modified and unmodified hypoeutectic alloys, and indicated that the difference in nucleation densities for eutectic structure must exists. In McDonald et al. claim that the difference in nucleation density and the size of eutectic grains is “drastic”. It should be noted, that due to the fact that eutectic transformation modes are relatively new area of research, only limited experimental data is available. Keeping this in mind, in our approach we assumed that in the case of modified alloys the nucleation density for eutectic structure isthe same as for the dendritic structure. In turn, for the second

Timoshchuk А.V. Spiritual cultureof a teacher as a part of his professionalculture. The essence ofprofessional and spiritual cultureof a teacheris described, the theoretical aspects of these concepts and the relation between them are char- acterized; the tasks ofthe formation of spiritual cultureof a futureteacher during professional training and the basic require- ments for the profession are identiied. It is indicated that professional training of a futureteacher with a focus on spiritual de- velopment isthe prerequisite for effective educational activities.
As we know that to find the area of sector the angle made by the chord (that is chord which divides the circle) is required. But in the below method we find the ratio ofthe segments ofthe circle. Thus by relating the area of segment to the area of sector the area of sector could be found. The ratio of area of segments is related to tangents that are drawn through diameter on either side.
stage, the content of manganese was made up with an addition of ferromanganese and the melt was held for 3 minutes. During holding ofthe melt and before tapping, the temperature of liquid iron was measured with a thermocouple. The melt was transferred to a ladle, which was next transported to the casting stand and molten metal was poured into the previously prepared moulds. Test bars with a φ 15 mm diameter and castings were made following the production regime adopted by HARDKOP Foundry at Trzebinia. As a next step, specimens were prepared for metallographic examinations. Chemical composition ofthe cast iron phase constituents was examined using a JEOL 500LV scanning electron microscope with attachment for X-ray microanalysis (EDS).
However, we must highlight the efforts of these teachers to seek, at their own expense, courses that allow them to acquire knowledge and develop skills to work in such diverse environ- ments, as was the case ofthe expressive initiative in the search for postgraduate education. In fact, as previously mentioned, this type of education presents consistency for the consolidation of important knowledge for teaching, are often sought by teachers to qualify in the non-school and/or school areas in order to have options to supplement their monthly income, as was observed among the vast majority of teachers. Even so, the search for post- graduate distance education, due to the impossibility of moving to large centers where there is a diversiied offer of face-to-face courses, did not always meet the personal demands by limiting them to available offers that sometimes do not correspond to the needs ofthe speciic ield of action or do not have the desired quality, as observed with a third ofthe teachers investigated.
Based on critical pedagogy as proposed by Paulo Freire, Nicolaides and Fernandes argue that the social environment where learning takes place and the opportunities it generates play an important role in thedevelopmentof autonomy. To illustrate their point, they present a case study involving an undergraduate language learner, considered a rebel by some of his teachers, and some ofthe transformations he went through during the learning process.
In addition to the snake problem, they reported that sidewalks are all broken and overgrown, which does not allow students to travel to school safely. The same student noted: “when the deputy mayor of Valinhos came here, and we asked her to have the weeds on the sidewalk cut, she simply ordered those very close to the sidewalk cut, but what was behind it continued growing.” Students began to comment on their situation about this: “The weeds in front of my house have no end... I will set it on fire”, “The sidewalks on my street are just bush.” "The most common insect in this neighborhood, which I hate, is wasps." Another said: “It's mosquitoes; there is a lot of stale water that can cause dengue fever.”
companies of any kind, including the banking industry is not enough to just rely on internal resources and capabilities they have and implement business functions are single fighter. The success gained competitive advantage depends on the ability of companies in perceived value to customers who exceed that offered by competitors. For an industry that includes the banking industry in the creation of value to the customer and achieving superior performance must be able to anticipate and adapt to changes in the type and intensity of competitive forces in the industrial environment. Increasing the strength of competition in the industrial environment both of Rivalry Among Existing sellers and new entrants will result in price competition and tighter margins obtained which will ultimately affect the performance ofthe company. Especially against the banking industry, including Islamic banking, competitive landscape facing now not only fellow Islamic banking in the country, but because the growth is very promising, also has attracted foreign banks to plunge also in the Islamic banking industry both full-pledged islamic banking and foreign commercial banks which have business units islamic window. Influential forces affecting the competitive environment on the performance of Islamic banking in particular through the introduction of new entrants of foreign banks into Islamic banking industry is evidenced by the results of research conducted by Hassan et. al. 2013). The results of research by using econometric models and using 14 samples from 24 countries who have foreign Islamic banks and Islamic banks with domestic observation period financial statements (financial statements) ofthe 149 Islamic banks domestic and foreign Islamic banks during 1996 to 2010 concluded that: In general, foreign Islamic banks as new competitors enjoy more Linggi performance in the form of net profit margin in 7 countries ofthe 24 countries sampled, but instead get the net profit margin is very low in 5 other countries. Another finding isthe rate of returns (in the form of ROE and ROA) plays an important role in the decisions of foreign Islamic banks to entry into the market of Islamic banking in the country, macroeconomic conditions only act as a supporting role, considered tax policy plays a role in the decision-hostile entry decision and the presence of foreign Islamic banks, the financial crisis did not significantly affect the entry decision. Meanwhile, the analysis ofthe influence of foreign Islamic bank entry on the performance ofthe domestic Islamic banks, among others, show the profitability ofthe domestic Islamic
Tobacco, alcohol, and betel quid are the main causes of squamous cell cancers ofthe upper aerodigestive tract. These substances can cause multifocal carcinogenesis leading to multiple synchronous or metachronous cancers ofthe oesophagus, head and neck region, and lungs (‘ield cancerisation’). Globally there are several million people who have survived either head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC) or lung cancer (LC). HNSCC and LC survivors are at increased risk of developing second primary malignancies, including second primary cancers ofthe oesophagus. The risk of second primary oesophageal squamous cell cancer (OSCC) ranges from 8-30% in HNSCC patients. LC and HNSCC survivors should be ofered endoscopic surveillance ofthe oesophagus. Lugol chromoendoscopy isthe traditional and best evaluated screening method to detect early squamous cell neoplasias ofthe oesophagus. More recently, narrow band imaging combined with magnifying endoscopy has been established as an alternative screening method in Asia. Low-dose chest computed tomography (CT) isthe best evidence- based screening technique to detect (second primary) LC and to reduce LC-related mortality. Low-dose chest CT screening is therefore recommended in OSCC, HNSCC, and LC survivors. In addition, OSCC survivors should undergo periodic pharyngolaryngoscopy for early detection of second primary HNSCC. Secondary prevention aims at quitting smoking, betel quid chewing, and alcohol consumption. As ield cancerisation involves the oesophagus, the bronchi, and the head and neck region, the patients at risk are best surveilled and managed by an interdisciplinary team.
The metaphysicians of chance point to the probabilistic nature of scien- tiic laws. Such probabilistic laws assert some dependencies and enable us to predict (with a given probability) thefutureof aggregates or collectives, but not thefutureof their individual parts. We also meet this kind of unpre- dictability in the case of human behaviour, individual as well as social. All these data give us evidence that our universe has not been created according to a very detailed and precise plan encompassing all substances and all of their properties. Protons, electrons, and genes, but also species, kinds, and particular human beings, are not part of a divine plan and creative volition (Bartholomew 1984, p. 145). How could it be that God brings about the existence of beings which are purposeless, unpredictable and, as such, not determined by his creative volition? If our non-deterministic universe has a Creator, He does not control every substance and every property, de facto, he is not the Creator of all contingent entities in our world. Thus, divine action consists in the creation ofthe universe in its initial stage, and the world is such that God need neither act continuously upon that world nor intervene from time to time in order to achieve His aims. God created the world in such a way that His providence does not have to control absolutely every contingent substance at every moment of its existence in order to realize all that divine will wills to be realized.
In the quality assurance system for components cast using the lost wax method, the object of evaluation isthe grain size on the surface ofthe casting. This paper describes a new method for evaluating the primary grain parameters on the surface of aircraft engine turbine blades. Effectiveness ofthe method has been tested on two macrostructures distinguished by a high degree of diversity in the grain size. The grounds for evaluating the grain parameters consist of geometric measurement ofthe turbine blade using a laser profilometer and of approximation ofthe measurement results using a polynomial of a proper degree. The so obtained analytical non-planar surface serves as a reference point for an assessment ofthe parameters of grains observed on the real blade surface of a variable curvature. The aspects subjected to evaluation included: the grain areas, shape and elongation coefficients of grains on a non-planar surface ofthe blade airfoil, using measurements taken on a perpendicular projection by means of a stereoscopic microscope and image analysis methods, and by making calculations using the Mathematica ® package.
