After stopping the operation of the air conditioner, turn off the power supply breaker and remove the power plug. Discharge the capacitor before work involving the electrical parts. lt;Precautions during the repair service>. When repairing or inspecting the circuit must be done without turning off the power, be very careful not to touch the live parts.

The correct coolant is specified in the manuals and on the specification labels supplied with our products. We will not be responsible for mechanical failure, system malfunction, unit breakdown or accidents caused by failure to follow instructions. Connecting these models to outdoor units of the MUZ-FH·VE(HZ) series enables low standby power control.

These models can possibly be connected to the MUZ-FH·VE(HZ) series once they have been connected to the MXZ series and operated, for example due to moving. In that case, the MUZ-FH·VE(HZ) series outdoor units will not operate without taking a step. Felt tape (for left or left rear pipes) 1 Air purification filter. If two or more indoor units are operating in a multi system, it may happen that the indoor unit operating in (AUTO) cannot switch to another operation mode (COOL ↔ HEAT) and enter standby mode. A multi-system air conditioner can connect two or more indoor units to one outdoor unit. When trying to operate two or more indoor units simultaneously with one outdoor unit, one for cooling and the other for heating, the operation mode of the indoor unit that operates first is selected.

Other indoor units cannot operate, and the operation indicator lamp flashes as shown in the figure below. When indoor unit starts operation while defrosting outdoor unit, it takes a few minutes (max. 10 minutes) to blow out the hot air. In the heating, although the indoor unit that is not working may become hot or the sound of refrigerant flowing may be heard, it is not malfunctioning.

The direction of rotation, speed and angle of the motor are controlled by pulse signals (approximately 12 V) transmitted by the internal microprocessor. During COOL or DRY operation with the blade angle at angle 4 or 5 when the cumulative working time of the compressor exceeds 1 hour, the blade angle automatically changes to angle 3 for dew prevention. NOTE: Right and left horizontal bars placed at the same level may not line up perfectly.

Confirmation of default position is performed in the following cases:. a) When the operation starts or ends (including timer operation). In VANE AUTO mode, the microprocessor automatically determines the angle to achieve the optimal room temperature distribution. NOTE: When 2 or more indoor units are operated with multi outdoor unit, even if one indoor unit turns off the thermostat, this control does not work in the indoor unit.

When the ECONO COOL button is pressed in COOL mode, the set temperature is automatically set 2°C higher by the microprocessor. The air conditioner automatically adjusts the fan speed and set temperature and uses the POWERFUL mode. To cancel this operation manually, select another mode or press one of the following buttons within 15 minutes after starting operation: OPERATE/STOP (ON/OFF) (MSZ-FH25/35/50VE)/STOP/OPERATE (OFF/ ON) (MSZ-FH25/35/50VE2), ECONO COOL, FINISHER SPEED CONTROL, NATURAL FLOW or i-save button.

10-2. FAILURE MODE RECALL FUNCTION Outline of the function

  • Flow chart of failure mode recall function for the indoor/outdoor unit
  • Flow chart of AIR PURIFYING power failure mode recall function
  • AIR PURIFYING power operation check
  • Indoor unit failure mode table POWER lamp Abnormal point
  • AIR PURIFYING power failure mode table
  • Operation check on i-see SENSOR

Be sure to release the error mode recall function after setting it up, otherwise the device may not work properly. With the remote control pointed at the indoor unit, press the TOO COOL or TOO WARM button to adjust the set temperature to 23 °C. Check the flashing pattern and identify the abnormal point with the AIR PURIFYING power failure condition table (10-2.5.).

Press the OPERATE/STOP (ON/OFF) (MSZ-FH25/35/50VE)/STOP/OPERATE (OFF/ON) (MSZ-FH25/35/50VE2) button on the remote control (the set temperature is displayed) with the remote control pointed at indoor unit. The lock switch (air cleaner) is operated by opening the front panel and the AIR CLEANER power is cut off. AIR PURIFIER power is turned on when the PURIFIER button on the remote control is pressed with any set temperature displayed during the fail mode recovery function.

Check the operation display section on the remote control to confirm that the AIR CLEANER power is activated. See characteristics of main internal coil thermistor, auxiliary internal coil thermistor (10-7.). The speed feedback signal is not output for 12 seconds after the indoor fan motor is running.

When the air purification function cannot be turned off even if the air purification function is turned off with the remote control. As soon as an abnormality is detected, the air purifier is switched off. Therefore, a measuring instrument that records the voltage wave is needed to perform the above-mentioned voltage measurement. While recalling the error data, set the temperature to 19°C to perform the simple check of the i-see SENSOR.

Lights up the indoor POWER lamp. lt;Confirming the power of the indoor unit>. Are there faulty wiring, poor contact or wire disconnection of the indoor/outdoor connection wire. Are there faulty wiring, poor contact or wire disconnection of the indoor/outdoor connection wire.

Check for intermediate connection of the indoor/outdoor connecting wire, loose connection with the terminal block, and cut wire inside the cable. If the trouble occurs or does not occur depending on whether the light is on or off, distance the lighting from the indoor unit or apply the glass filter to the receiving part of the indoor unit. Pass the indoor/outdoor connecting wire through a different route than the existing wiring as arranged below:.

When the AIR PURIFICATION light flashes 2 times. An abnormal discharge may occur due to a lot of dirt on the air purifier. Clean it up.

After cleaning, be sure to connect the air cleaning device after it is completely dry. If the AIR PURIFYING power operation check is performed with the wet air purification device, the protection is activated and also the AIR PURIFYING lamp flashes continuously. If it runs normally without turning off and on, the AIR PURIFYING lamp does not turn off.).

Be careful and never touch the air cleaner and the high voltage lead part. Operate and idle the ignition switch (air cleaner) using something like a screwdriver and measure the resistance between CN1R1 and the internal electronic control P.C. Does the ignition switch (air cleaner) work? Air cleaner) Does not work (close) using something like a screwdriver.
