To reduce the risk of short circuit, current leakage, electric shock, malfunction, smoke or fire, do not wash the controller with water or any other liquid. To reduce the risk of injury or electric shock, before spraying any chemical around the controller, stop operation and cover the controller. To reduce the risk of injury, keep children away while installing, inspecting, or repairing the controller.
To reduce the risk of fire or explosion, do not place flammable materials or use flammable sprays around the controller. To avoid discoloration, do not use benzine, thinner or chemical cloth to clean the controller.
Parts to be used
The Initial Setting Tool versions that can be used differ with the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 version. Refer to the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 Installation Manual or Instruction Book (Initial Settings) for how to check the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 versions and how to update the software.

Basic operations
The Charge Calculation Tool can calculate charges within the date range of the CSV (assigned results) data output by the AE-200. Select [From CSV File] as the assigned data collection method in the costing screen. In systems where electrical energy is measured (measuring device method), the cost calculation results are displayed for each energy management block as well as for each measuring device.
In systems where electrical energy is entered manually (method without measuring device), the costs for each energy management block are displayed. In systems where electrical energy is measured (measuring device method), the cost calculation results are printed for each energy management block as well as for each metering device.
Practical operations
Preparation of the software (installation)
A method where the computer automatically displays the results of the debit calculation on the closing date of each month. Calculations in the cost calculation tool will be shown for periods shorter than those covered by the data stored in the AE-200 (up to the previous 62 days). The data will be automatically published at 5:00 am on the day after the "end date" set in the cost calculator.
Refer to Section 3-3-3 "Settings in the Rate Calculator" for details on how to make the settings. The meter connection settings (connection or disconnection) in the rate calculation tool and AE-200 do not match. The display order of the power management block names in the charge calculation result will be changed.
In systems where electrical energy is measured (meter method), set the unit prices from 1 to 5 per 1 [kWh].
Initial settings
The table below summarizes the settings required to use a distributed electricity billing feature. 3 If changes to settings are required during a trial run of billing functionality, make the settings in the initial settings tool. 2 After the setting data has been loaded into the initial setting tool and the changes have been made, do not change the settings on the AE-200's LCD or from the web browser until you have finished sending the setting change data.
3 The setting data created on the Initial Setting Tool cannot be loaded or written to the AE-200 using a USB memory. 4 Save the setting files set on the initial setting tool (data before change and data after change) in a safe place. When the "tab" you want to make the settings for is clicked, the settings screen will appear.
After all settings are completed, click [Send settings] on the toolbar to send it to the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50. If the data acquisition fails, the settings in the centralized controller registered in "System Configuration" will not be applied to the settings in the Initial Setting Tool. This sends the settings data to all centralized controller IP addresses set in System Configuration at once.
To change the unit displayed on the centralized controllers, make settings in the "Temperature Unit" setting in [Basic Settings] > [Basic System]. The checklist will be printed based on the settings in the initial settings tool. If the settings on the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 and the initial setting tool are not the same, the billing function test will not be performed correctly.
Billing function trial run
The LOSSNAY electrical energy will be allocated based on the operating status of the interlocked indoor units. In “Unit type”, select [Air conditioner], [Air conditioner (A control)], [Air to water], [LOSSNAY] or [LOSSNAY with heater/humidifier]. Closing Date Set the time periods displayed in the energy management list on the AE-200 LCD.
If you select [End of Month], the electricity from the 1st of the month to the end of the month will be displayed in the “Energy management list” on the AE-200 LCD. From [Option] > [Output - Billing Function Trial Run Checklist] in the initial setup tool, print out the “Items to check during trial run” checklist. Enter the measured value of the AE-200 and the electric power on the electricity meter after trial start-up on the control sheet.*2 (See chapter Entering electricity (after trial run)”.).
Compare the total electrical energy allocated on the unit-related item sheet (total for all electrical energy allocated) and the total electrical energy on the invoice-related item sheet (total for indoor and outdoor units). From [Option] > [Output - Check Sheet for Billing Function Trial Run] on the Initial Setting Tool, run the file 'Items. From [Option] > [Output - Check Sheet for Billing Function Trial Run] on the Initial Setting Tool, run the check sheet 'Items to be checked on the next day of the closing date'.
Enter the measured value of the AE-200 and the electrical power on the electricity meter on the control sheet before the test run.*4 (See section Entering the electrical energy (after the test run)”.). ⑤ Enter the monitored value before the test run via [Monitor] > [Measurement] on the LCD screen of the AE-200. Check that the value of the difference in electrical energy on the electricity meter is not “0”.
From [Option] > [Output - Billing Function Trial Run Checklist] in the initial setup tool, print out the “Items to be checked on the next day of the closing date” checklist (Excel sheet). ⑦-⑩: [Billing Function Settings] screen > [Cost Settings] Contents to be checked in the cost calculation tool.
Troubleshooting
Recheck for proper following settings on the Initial Settings Tool, and correct the settings. Check the cooling system connection on the [System View] screen under the [Initial Settings] menu on the AE-200's LCD, and correct the address setting of the actual unit. This section describes how to restore the allocated data (backup) from the AE-50/EW-50 to the AE-200.
This section describes how to restore the assigned AE-200 data (backup) to the AE-50/EW-50. This is the data used to compare the last values on the AE-50/EW-50 and PI controller with the values on the AE-200 when the prior distribution was calculated and to calculate the increment. If the PI controller is connected to a replacement AE-50 or EW-50 connected to an AE-200, perform the procedure below.
Select the AE-50 or EW-50 to which the PI controller is connected as the "Centralized controller". Select the AE-50 or EW-50 to which the PI controller is connected as the "Centralized controller". If even one unit price setting is deleted on the Initial Setting Tool, delete the transferred data in the allocated data.
On the AE-200 LCD, select [Maintenance] > [Apportioned data] > [Carryover], and then select [Centralized controller] as “Target”. See AE-200 Instruction Book - Detailed Operations - for detailed information on charging parameters. In the initial settings tool, select [Billing function settings] > [Billing function] to check the settings.
Using the AE-200 Charge Calculation Support Tool
Make sure this setting is the same as the CSV output format of the AE-200 Charge Calculation Tool. In case of (,) Comma, 0 In case of (;) Semicolon, 1 Select the decimal separator for importing CSV. The air conditioning cost is calculated based on the air conditioning charge ratio CSV file issued by the AE-200 Charge Calculation Tool and the electric energy calculated by the electricity meter.
Click [Select data file/create tool] to select and open the CSV file of the air conditioning charge report. AE-200ChargeCalc.xlsm" automatically closes and an Excel screen titled "Air conditioning charge calculation support tool from a charge report" opens under a different file name. When the data is entered, the total air conditioning charges (charges of electricity usage) for each power management block are displayed automatically.
To create invoices for tenants, use the Excel screen of the Air Conditioning Charge Calculation Support Tool from a Charge Report to develop data for the billing form. When the [Create] button is clicked, the print invoice form opens in a new workbook and the following items are reflected. If necessary, it is possible to enter items other than air conditioning charges, such as water and gas charges.
After changing the form, check the cell position to which the energy management block name, billing year and month, and total air conditioning cost will be exported. When output cells are selected, the cells are indicated with a dashed line and displayed in the reference range field. If "AE-200ChargeCalc.xlsm" is closed without first clicking on [Bill form save], the settings are not saved.
