VMF-E0 ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT FOR FANCOILS

An E1 type thermostat board inserted in a protective box and easily attached to the side of the fan coil unit. When open, the thermostat operates normally; When it is closed, the fan coil unit is switched off. In networks consisting of several fan coils divided into independent temperature areas, the area controller VMF-E1 allows communication with a central system monitor (VMF-E5).

HEATING ONLY COIL WATER VALVE

WARNING: electrical installations, installation of fan coils and related accessories must be carried out by a technician who has the necessary technical and professional expertise to install, modify, expand and maintain the systems and who is able to check the systems for safety purposes and correct operation. Do not install the unit in workshops or kitchens where oil vapors mixed with the treated air can be deposited on the exchange coils, reducing their performance, or on the parts inside the unit by damaging the plastic parts. VED fan coils are equipped with 5-speed motors, 3 operating speeds of which can be selected by changing the connections in the motor electrical box.

Check the thermostat manual before choosing the location of the minimum water temperature sensor according to the preferred control logic. ATTENTION: After completing the installation, check the operation of the condensate discharge system, the seal of the hydraulic equipment, the insulation of the channels and pipes. For ducted installation, ensure duct assembly in unit, see drawing with dimensional data.

Use expansion bolts (not supplied) for wall or ceiling mounting, finally make sure the unit is installed horizontally. Use the nuts to adjust the height of the unit; finally, check that the device is installed horizontally.

INSTALLING THE UNIT

WARNING: The fan coil must be installed in a horizontal position, otherwise the correct discharge of condensate cannot be guaranteed. The unit must be connected directly to an electrical outlet or to an independent circuit. In the presence of breakers or thermomagnetic switches 3P + N, the trigger current must be at least 170%.

The section of the neutral wire must be of a dimension that takes into account the operating current equal to 170% of the total load absorbed by the fan coils for each phase. All the cables must be in pipes or raceways until they are inside the fan coil. WARNING: Make sure the control panel supports the load of the electric motor, otherwise place a SIT3 interface accessory between the fan and the control panel.

For installations with a 3-way valve, the minimum water temperature sensor must be moved from the standard mounting in the coil to the discharge hose upstream of the valve. If the highest engine speeds are required, change the connection on the control board to the trolling motor.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS and counter-wrench to fix the pipes

The spaces between the solar collector and the hole in the side must be completely sealed and filled with insulating material. Move the support plate, guide plate, ground u-bolt and any electrical devices from the right side to the left side.

COIL ROTATION

The drain connectors are designed to be connected only to a flexible pipe of the appropriate internal diameter, avoid heavy loads and do not use them for other purposes. In the case of discharge into the sewage network, it is recommended to make a siphon to prevent unpleasant odors from returning to the room. Use insulating material to block the holes left open by the hydraulic connections on the left side.
