 Always comply with industrial safety rules as directed by the facilitator.

 Students who misbehave in class / laboratory / workshop / library / sports facilities may be asked to leave the premises by the Polytechnic's staff.

SOCIAL MEDIA RESPONSIBILITY

 Social Media platforms such as blogs, micro-blogs, social networking sites as well as video and photo-sharing sites have become an integral part in many of our lives. When communicating through these platforms, one must adopt a civilized and respectful tone towards the subject matter and conduct oneself in an objective and professional manner as public messages are often non-retractable and are transmitted rapidly and boundlessly. All RP students are expected to be mindful of the content that they post in the public domains. Messages which are offensive, racist, vulgar and threatening will not be tolerated; these messages could also be accessible by your prospective

employers and universities in the later years. Therefore, RP students are expected to act responsibly when using social media tools and platforms.

Failure to abide by these rules may render the student liable for disciplinary action.

REPUBLIC POLYTECHNIC STUDENT CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE REGULATIONS

These regulations provide for penalties to be imposed on students for disciplinary offences. A summary of the penalties is given below.
