Foram observadas alterações em algumas medidas de condições corporais de Elaenia ridleyana e Vireo gracilirostris entre as áreas conservada e antropizada.

A abundância das aves é diferente entre as áreas e pode ser explicada pela qualidade do habitat (cobertura de vegetação).

O processo de antropização na ilha principal de Fernando de Noronha altera a qualidade do hábitat, e tais alterações podem influenciar na condição corporal das aves endêmicas.

Considerações finais

Medidas são sugeridas pela IUCN afim de ampliar o conhecimento sobre as exigências de E. ridleyana e V. gracilirostris e compreender como elas reagem as alterações no meio (BirdLife International, 2017). Informações sobre o tamanho populacional e da área de vida; efeitos das espécies invasoras (gatos, tejos e ratos) sobre as populações dessas aves com sugestões de medidas eficientes para erradicar essas espécies da ilha, e; monitoramento da flutuação das populações ao longo dos anos afim de compreender a sua dinâmica. Essas ações propostas são importantes para monitorar as populações dessas aves, tendo em vista que elas estão sendo afetadas pela crescente antropização na ilha.
