Nesse estudo foi possível verificar que a manipulação da região supra-hioidea e da língua quando adicionado a um tratamento multimodal para cervicalgia inespecífica crônica pode contribuir para a melhora do movimento de rotação cervical, bem como no pensamento catastrófico sobre a dor. Futuros estudos são necessários para compreender a relação da região supra-hioidea e da língua com a região cervical e sua possível relação sistêmica, inclusive para verificar possíveis resultados a longo prazo.
