5.2. Limitações e Sugestões para Investigação Futura

Um dos principais problemas encontrados durante a realização do presente estudo de caso foi a dificuldade em aceder aos profissionais das empresas que prestavam serviços numa empresa cliente. De fato, teria sido interessante realizar um maior número de entrevistas que permitisse obter uma descrição mais rica da natureza dos problemas enfrentados e em que condições o recurso a colegas de outras empresas é visto como a via mais adequada para os solucionar. Por exemplo, não ficou muito claro em que condições e porque é que o sistema de

tickets nem sempre é respeitado e o que é que os gestores dos projetos acham da violação

dessas normas.

Também seria interessante aprofundar o presente estudo de caso contando com um maior número de participantes e adotá-lo em diferentes setores. Este tipo de estudos pode ser particularmente útil naquilo que se designa por Knowledge Intensive Business (e.g. consultoras, agências de publicidade), onde as competências das empresas estão muito

associadas às competências de indivíduos específicos. Além disto, pesquisas futuras poderiam dar maior ênfase à combinação do conceito de redes de negócios e de comunidades de prática, a qual tem como princípio subjacente o facto de o que acontece num relacionamento afetar outros. Finalmente, não foi possível explorar explicitamente em que medida os relacionamentos de negócios das empresas com outros clientes foram influenciados pela operação destas comunidades.
