6 CONCLUSÃO

6.4 Limitações e estudos futuros

Quanto aos estudos futuros, a apropriação de indicadores harmonizados para governança corporativa em bases de dados internacionais poderia viabilizar abordagem que preconizasse suporte empírico entre a governança corporativa e o aprimoramento em termos de solidez e eficiência dos diferentes sistemas financeiros. No curso do trabalho de pesquisa, a análise de conteúdo documental se apresentou como única via factível. Considerando que o desempenho de qualquer sistema econômico depende de instituições e da governança, como provedores de condições adequadas às transações e molduras para comportamentos de cooperação, investigações baseadas na economia institucional poderiam ser traçadas e aprofundadas com microdados.

A análise estatística demonstrou que a conjugação entre a amplitude do escopo de pesquisa e os efeitos da crise terminam por constituir limitação idiossincrática do trabalho. Conduzindo, portanto, à consideração de que o controle por variáveis dummy, pode (eventualmente) no limite das margens de erro, quantitativas, não permitir consolidação em sua inteireza fenomenológica. Diante disso, a ampliação das janelas adotadas no presente estudo, com o simples decorrer de tempo, possibilitaria acumulação de dados que alargassem o quadro de dados empíricos que foram examinados pelas técnicas estatísticas. Tal aspecto, inclusive, permitiria eventual exame do efeito da crise sobre os dados analisados. Os resultados estatísticos, baseados no controle de crise não definem diferenças estruturais em relação ao modelo prévio, demandando adicional exame.
