5.4. Sugestões de Futuras Investigações

Para futuras investigações sugere-se que sejam utilizadas amostras com outras cadeias ou mesmo com todas as cadeias existente, desta forma será possível comparar se os resultados obtidos na presente investigação se verificam noutros estudos.

De acordo com os resultados obtidos, apesar de haver uma forte investigação sobre novos instrumentos para estabelecimentos de fitness, o SERVPERF parece ser um instrumento fiável para a avaliação da perceção da qualidade do serviço em estabelecimentos de fitness. Existem também algumas variáveis que apresentaram associações com a perceção da qualidade do serviço prestado, nomeadamente relacionadas com o número de pessoas que frequentam o estabelecimento de fitness e o preço pago. Assim, sugere-se a investigação da utilização destas variáveis em futuros estudos.

Sugere-se também estudos internacionais que permitam avaliar o desempenho destas cadeias em comparação com outras de outros países, analisando em paralelo os processos de prestação de serviços para realização de benchmarking.
