Como trabalhos futuros buscaremos validar os modelos propostos em um ambiente com máquinas reais adicionando novos atributos que talvez não tenham sido considerados nas soluções propostas, trazendo o modelo o mais próximo possível do mundo real. Além disso, temos como objetivo contribuir com a comunidade na IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) e IRTF (Internet Research Task Force) com discussões sobre os resultados obtidos desta tese, bem como na criação de documentos, descrição dos desafios e terminologias dos problemas atacados na tese. Espera-se dessa forma, contribuir com pelo menos um draft para o Network Management

Research Group (NMRG) pertencente ao IRTF.

Além disso, vislumbramos a possibilidade de aplicar técnicas de detecção de comunidades (AHMED; BOUTABA, 2014) ao problema de alocação de controladores

SDN visando a criação de um novo algoritmo de alocação mais eficiente. Por fim, temos como objetivo realizar um survey sobre os diferentes problemas de alocação de controladores SDN, bem como as principais técnicas utilizadas na busca de soluções ótimas ou próximas do ótimo aplicada a este problema.
