6 CONCLUSÃO
6.2 TRABALHOS FUTUROS
Por outro lado, este trabalho deixa em aberto diversas extensões, que podem ser implementadas de modo a melhorar o trabalho aqui relatado. Dentre essas propostas, podemos citar:
1. Exploração de métricas:
Métricas de similaridade textual: explorar novas métricas para cálculo de
similaridade do conteúdo dos nós, a fim de melhor ainda mais o desempenho da predição, e montar clusters para processar a similaridade do conteúdo entre todos os nós da rede.
Métricas locais e globais para análise da topologia da rede: explorar
novas métricas, a fim de propor o máximo possível de pares candidatos que tenha publicado no futuro para cálculo de similaridade entre eles. 2. Estudos comparativos: Implementar métodos de predição de relacionamentos
que utiliza algoritmos de aprendizagem de máquina para comparar os resultados com o desempenho do método proposto nesse trabalho.
3. Bibliotecas digitais: o ConPredict obteve bons resultados para os experimentos realizados nas áreas de pesquisa da biblioteca digital ArXiv. No entanto, resultados obtidos em outras bibliotecas digitais, como DBLP (Digital
Bibliography & Library Project), ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) e
CiteSeerX se faz interessantes.
4. Análise temporal: A ocorrência de Colaboradores que deixaram de publicar em
uma área de pesquisa ou nunca colaborem é comum, principalmente quando aquela área de pesquisa deixou de ser interessante naquele período. A análise
temporal do conteúdo publicado por esses Colaboradores poderá justificar algumas razões exógenas à rede que levam a tal fato. Como foi abordado por Liben-Nowell & Kleinberg (2007).
