A seguir são apresentadas algumas possibilidades de trabalhos futuros:

 Experimentar o desenvolvimento de aplicações voltadas para outros paradigmas de rede, como por exemplo ICN;

 Estender a prova de conceito abarcando a acoplação de outras instâncias de arquiteturas de Internet do Futuro, com paradigmas distintos, no

Middleware;

 Realizar um estudo quantitativo dos resultados apresentados pelo uso do PolimorFI;

 Identificar o comportamento do tráfego de mensagens ao longo do tempo, permitindo identificar situações de pico de utilização;

 Desenvolver recursos que possibilitem o gerenciamento de eventos (falhas/sucesso) no envio de mensagens entre as aplicações;

 Realizar pesquisa de campo com desenvolvedores de aplicações para coletar informações referentes à facilidade do desenvolvimento por meio do PolimorFI.
