Playing DVD Audio/
DVD Video/Video CD
Description
Play Position Memory Function:
This function remembers the last position on the disc before the unit power or the Ignition switch was turned OFF or the source was changed. When playback continues, it begins from the point where playback stopped when the power was turned OFF or the source was changed. Depending on the disc it may not return properly. If the disc is changed, the play position memory is cleared.
A DVD can be programmed to ignore certain functions.
Therefore, not all the operations described in this manual, may be accepted by a particular DVD.
Not all functions will operate for every DVD. See the individual DVD’s instructions for details on the features supported.
Fingerprints on a disc may adversely affect playback. If a problem occurs, remove the disc and check for fingerprints on the playback side. Clean the disc if necessary.
When using the remote control, be careful to press one button at time. Pressing multiple buttons at the same time may cause erroneous operation.
If you try to perform an invalid operation (based on the type of disc being played), the following mark is displayed on the monitor screen:
The reverse side of a double-sided DVD will not be played automatically.
Remove the disc, turn it over, and reinsert it.
DO NOT insert discs containing maps for the navigation system. Doing so could result in damage.
“DISC ERROR” appears on the monitor display if a non- compatible disc is loaded, if the disc is loaded upside-down or if the disc is scratched or invalid or dirty. Press on the main unit to open the display and remove the disc.
