The Instituto de Ciências Sociais of the University of Lisbon (ICS-ULisboa) opens a call for applications for grant of one (1) Post-Doctoral scholarship, within the framework of the Research project "Tr@ck-in Public employment services tracking effectiveness in supporting rural NEETs", funded by the EEA and Norway Grants for Youth Employment Fund, (Project reference no. Ref. 2020-01-0011), coordinated by Dr. Ana Sofia Ribeiro, from the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon.

Workplace: Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-ULisboa). 6. Scientific Orientation: The grantee's guidance will be provided by PhD Ana Sofia Ribeiro, project
coordinator.
Duration of the scholarship: The fellowship will have a duration of 6 months possibly
renewable up to the limits established in Article 6 of the FCT Regulations or the Regulations of the University of Lisbon.
Amount of the monthly maintenance allowance and Social Security:
- The value of the scholarship will be €1,646.00 (one thousand six hundred and forty-six euros), paid monthly by bank transfer.
- The grantee may exercise his/her right to social security, by adhering to the voluntary social security regime, under the terms foreseen in the Statute of the Research Grant Holder.
Eligibility criteria
The evaluation and selection procedure will be carried out by a jury of ICS-ULisboa: Dr. Ana Sofia Ribeiro, Dr. Ana Nunes de Almeida, Dr. Ana Patrícia Hilário.
The applicable selection methods will be: a) a curricular evaluation; b) a motivation letter, in which the candidate explains how his/her profile can contribute to the project; c) a selection interview.
The selection interview will be held for the three candidates with the best marks in the curricular evaluation, with a mark equal to or higher than 4.5 points.
a) Curriculum evaluation, in view of the project objectives and the specific nature of the research work to be developed, valued from 1 to 10 points (50%);
b) Proven experience, considering the specific tasks to be performed in the project, valued at 1 to 10 points (20%);
c) Letter of Motivation, referred to in 13.2, paragraph c), valued at 1 to 10 points (10%);
d) Other factors considered relevant, namely publications considered relevant in the context of the project, valued at 1 to 10 points (10%);
e) Selection interview to evaluate professional and behavioural competences, valued at 1 to 10 points (10%).
All candidates will be notified of the final result of the evaluation, sent to the email address used to send their application, and/or by mail, to the address on the Personal Data Form in Annex, through a list in descending order of the final evaluation obtained. Candidates may exercise the right of prior hearing, in writing, within ten working days from the notification. For that purpose, candidates may request the minutes to be sent by e-mail or consult the
procedure documents in person at the Institute during office hours.
Selection process
The applications shall be accompanied, under penalty of exclusion, with the following documents, no document, which should be submitted at the time of application, may be presented after the deadline for its presentation:
(a) Personal Data Form and Declaration of Consent for Communication of the Results via e- mail (see attached form);
b) Detailed and updated Curriculum Vitae;
c) Motivation Letter justifying the interest in the research project's theme and the competencies with which you think you can contribute to the project;

d) Document(s) proving that the applicant fulfils the conditions required for the type of grant, namely qualification certificate(s) of the academic degree(s) requested, with final average, or proof that the respective certificate(s) has(have) already been requested;
e) If the academic degree of PhD, required in the present Announcement as an admission requirement, was obtained abroad, you must submit one of the following documents
- Document proving the granting, by a Portuguese Institution, of the recognition or equivalence or registration of the academic degree; or
- Document proving that you have already applied for the recognition of the degree, which application shall be submitted until the deadline for the reception of application s;
f) The presentation of the proof of having obtained the academic degree recognition or equivalence or the academic degree registration is a mandatory condition for signing the contract;
h) For academic degrees obtained in foreign countries, which have not yet obtained either the recognition or the equivalence or the registration of the degree, it is necessary to recognize it, under the terms foreseen in Decree Law no. 66/2018, of August 16, combined with Ordinance no. 33/2019, of January 25.

Skills/Qualifications
Under the coordination of the project PI, the grant holder will perform the following duties: a) collection, processing and analysis of quantitative data; b) collection, processing and analysis of qualitative data; c) co-authored reports or other project outputs in English and Portuguese;
d) participation in project dissemination activities; e) participation in national and international meetings.
Specific Requirements
PhD in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work or related areas, obtained less than three years ago.
The academic degree required in this Call for Applications as an admission requirement may not have been obtained at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon, in accordance with the provisions of item b), number 3 of article 7 of The University of Lisbon Research Grants Regulations, and if it was obtained abroad, the requirements mentioned in item 13 of this Call for Applications concerning the qualification certificates shall be taken into consideration.
If the grant holder has previously held a post-doctoral fellowship, such fellowship may not have exceeded 31 months, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph e) of no. 2 of article 7 of The University of Lisbon Research Grants Regulations.
Candidates preferential requirements (not exclusive):
a) Written and spoken command of the English language;
b) Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies;
c) Experience in quantitative and qualitative data processing and analysis with software support;
d) Experience in research projects with international networks;
e) Interest in the area of youth studies, employment and rurality.
