On 14 December 2015, Atelier Dreiseitl will change its name to Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl as it migrates to the Ramboll brand. The move to a new brand is clearly aligned with Ramboll but is sufficiently distinctive to retain Atelier Dreiseitl’s existing brand value. It will be evaluated two years from GEB approval if the name, logo and visual identity will be retained or not.

Ramboll’s brand essence is about human touch and our brand model

encompasses our mission, vision and values. Visually, Ramboll’s brand consists of four basic elements: logo, colours, typography and images. Ramboll’s visual style is optimistic, bright and bold and our tone of voice seriously engaging. More about this can be found on the online Brand Manual.

Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl will fully comply with the philosophy behind the Ramboll brand – the human touch, vision, mission, values, etc. The Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl brand uses the Ramboll logo within the agreed dual logo framework as other acquired companies, the Ramboll colour palette and the Gotham rounded type face and it has a prominent use of images which are all defining visual elements in the Ramboll brand.

The Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl visual identity has a number of features that allows it the space to stand out. These include a different application of the colour palette with green as a key graphic element, the use of new formats for publications, extended use of white space and the absence of the cyan box on publication front pages.

When to use the Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl logo and brand

The Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl logo and brand is to be applied on all marketing material promoting the company formerly known as Atelier Dreiseitl.

If Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl participates in any exhibitions and/or conferences with units from the wider Ramboll Group, a way of integrating the separate branding on the material should be found – for instance by having a separate section with this branding, while retaining the overall Ramboll branding for the wider material.

Material promoting the broader Ramboll family will only feature the Ramboll logo, and will not be produced in a Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl version.

About the new logo

By adding Ramboll in the logo type we show clear ownership. By retaining the Dreiseitl name we ensure that the brand-equity embedded in this name is not lost and thereby retaining the trust and link to the well-known 30-year old brand. By changing Atelier to the neutral term “Studio” a bridge is created from the past (Atelier) to a new position within Ramboll. Studio also gives the flexibility to either play the card of Ramboll as a large global organisation or the small and flexible creative studio - depending on the most successful strategy for a specific proposal, project or client. Studio also stands for a creative group working in an innovative, design orientated and unique style.

Cyan logo

This is the primary version of the Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl logo. When it appears alone and on a white background, use the cyan version.

Grey logo

We use the grey logo in connection with cyan text boxes as shown in this example, if the white logo does not work. The grey logo is only used on light backgrounds.

White logo

We primarily use the white logo version in connection with cyan text boxes. The white logo version is only used on coloured or other dark backgrounds such as photography.

Ramboll logo defines the clear zone around the logo. No other design element should be placed within this zone.

Minimum size of logo

The Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl logo should never be less than 37.5 mm wide.

As China is an important market area, there is also a Chinese version of the logo. Please note, that this should only be used on material specifically developed for the Chinese market.

When advertising in magazines and newspapers a one company principle is followed, ensuring positioning of the Ramboll master brand. The images can be either prominent Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl projects or Ramboll brand images.

The print adverts uses the Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl logo as a dual brand solution.

Apart from the dual brand logo the adverts follow the general Ramboll brand guidelines: Tone-of-voice, photo style and design elements all align with the overall Ramboll advertisement concept. Read more on the Ramboll brand Manual.
