ABSTRACT:

In this study we address the relation between knowledge management and innovation in Islamic advertisement organization. This era is the era at outstanding development and transformation in technologies. An era which its structure is filled with deepening the Information and attention toward creative and knowledge oriented human force participation instead of operational human force. The research method in term of data grating is descriptive for using questionnaire in order to gather date and in term of evaluating the relation between the variables is correlative and it is an applied research. The statistical society consists of 200 individuals who are the personal of Islamic advertisement organization. The samples are randomly selected based on Morgan table as 127 persons. The data gathering in done through presenting questionnaires to the personnel. The assessment tool is the standard questionnaire based on Marcus and Simon model. Analysis and getting to conclusion and responding the questions and approving or disapproving the hypothesis is fulfilled through appropriate statistical tests and SPSS software program. Data gathering method for complementary theoretical fundamentals is through library resources and internet such as books, articles, related websites university websites. Theses, and formal articles in and out of the country. Data gathering tool is standard questionnaire related to the subject and its analysis and conclusion is performed by using SPSS software program and appropriate statistical tests are given in order to evaluate the correlation. For classification we’ve used Likret range, and spearman test is used for evaluating the hypothesis. Given the importance and the role of knowledge and innovation, this study is performed on the basis of theoretical and experimental studies (on reviewing the relation between knowledge management and innovation). It worth mentioning that most of the presented specifications in this article are the result of theoretical studies and interviews with the personal of the organization.

order for aggregation of their knowledge and information to be available for those who need them in order to act with more productivity. (hasanzadeh,B85)This research is performed in the second half of 2012 with the aim to review the relation between innovation and knowledge management in Islamic Propagation Organization. Its aim is studying the existence of relation between knowledge management and innovation. By using the comments and former researches inside and outside of the country, knowledge management and innovation is reviewed based on Marcus and Simon model in 3 aspects of knowledge gaining, distributing and responding to knowledge. The analysis unit of this research is individual and the statistical society is consisted of the 127 personnel of Islamic Propagation Organization. The data were gathered via questionnaires. The reliability of this research is approved by formal method and its validity was approved by SPSS software program and Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient.

[II] MATERIALS AND METHODS

The present study, in term data gathering is descriptive research and in term of evaluating the relation between the variables is correlative. In descriptive research, the researcher aims to find know- how of the issue consisting of data gathering to testing the hypotheses or answering the questions related to current situation of the study subject. The descriptive researches are applied and fundamental of which the former can be used in decision making and planning. The statistical society of this research is the 200 personnel and experts and managers of the Islamic Propagation Organization of Tehran Province, and the sample society is 127 individuals. All questionnaires are completed. The sampling was randomly selected and the questionnaires and distributed randomly in different sections of the Organization and sampling was calculated based on Morgan Table.

HYPOTHESES AND QUESTION OF THE RESEARCH:

This study aims to address the relation between knowledge management and innovation in Islamic Propagation organization at Tehran. The main question is: does the implementation of knowledge management in Islamic Propagation organization lead to innovation in this organization?

Subsidiary question:

1.How much does knowledge gaining lead to innovation in the organization?

2. How much does knowledge distribution lead to innovation in the organization?

3.How much does knowledge responding lead to innovation in the organization?

4.How much are the personnel of the organization aware of innovation and its effect on the organization?

To answer the questions, the following hypotheses are presented.

Main hypothesis:

There exists, a meaningful relation between knowledge management and innovation in Tehran’s Islamic Propagation organization. Subsidiary hypothesis:

1.There exists, a meaningful relation between knowledge gaining and innovation in Tehran’s Islamic propagation organization.

2.There exists, a meaningful relation between knowledge distribution and innovation in Tehran’s Islamic propagation organization. 3.There exists, a meaningful relation between

responding to knowledge management and innovation in Tehran’s Islamic propagation organization.

The assessment tools:

Standard questioner is based on Marcus and Simon model with tree aspects of knowledge gaining, distributing and responding to knowledge. To analyze and concluding and responding to questions and approving or disapproving the hypothesis, statistical tests of correlation assessment (spearman) and SPSS software program are used. To answer the question, ranking is used which is in this form: Based on the questions of the questionnaires each of which has got five alternatives: fully agree, agree, neutral, disagree, and fully disagree.

The scores of the alternatives: fully agree: five scores, agree: 4, neutral: 3, disagree: 2, fully disagree: 1.

Total scores: 55 – 80: effective measure in the organization in the field of knowledge management.

This measures may lead to innovation with a high probability. 30-55: somehow effective measures in the field of knowledge management. These measures probably lead to innovation. Less than 30: not effective measures in the field of knowledge management. These measures may not lead to innovation in the organization.

Data gathering method and tools: for completing the theoretical fundamentals, library resources and internet including books, articles, websites, university websites, thesis, and former articles inside and outside of the country are used. Data gathering tools were the standard questionnaires and the SPSS software program was used for analyzing the standard and the final conclusion and the statistical tests were used for correlation assessment and for classification, like range and Marcus and Simon model were used.

Reliability assessment:

By reliability, we mean that by measuring, it can measure the mentioned specifications. Reliability assessment of the content of the questionnaire is not performed for the sake of being standard. Validity assessment: The most famous test for validity of adaptation of the components is

Cronbach's alpha coefficient. For assessing the internal coordination of the tools such as the questionnaires or tests measuring different aspects, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used. This coefficient indicates the cohesion of the questions and that the repliers have answered to the questions accurately. The validity between 0.6 – 0.8 is suitable for test with research objectives. Taking into account the table and the using statistical software program and cronbach's alpha, the resulting number was more than 0.6 which indicates that the questionnaire has got validity. Validity:

Research model : the model used here is Marcus and Simon model which reviews the relation between knowledge management and innovation in three aspects of knowledge gaining , distributing and responding . Each of these aspects is defined as follows:

Knowledge gaining, in this stage the knowledge shall be gathered from inside and outside markets such as the knowledge related to customers, production, colleagues, opponents, …, and defining that which capacities can be purchased from abroad shall be taken into account (mohammadi fateh, sobhani, 2011).

Knowledge distribution: Given the current floors, we shall develop the knowledge of the organization which includes capability, product, new ideas, procedures, … development.

Responding to knowledge: assuring the effective use of knowledge within the organization is related to this stage.

There are some obstacles in this stage which shall be recognized and removed in order for effectively providing knowledge services and products (Afzoudeh, 1384).

Reviewing the main question of the research: knowledge management lead to innovation in the Islamic Propagation Organization. The measures of the organization in the field of knowledge management are somehow effective: these measures probably lead to innovation. The gained score 50/34 indicates that the measures of the Islamic Propagation Organization were somehow effective and may lead to innovation. Of course this needs appropriate and scheduled practices, because it seems that the organization performance on innovation was weak and it shall be more active in this field. To answer the first question, knowledge management has somehow led to innovation in the organization. The gained score is between 30 and 55

Reviewing the subsidiary questions:

1.For the first question, the gained score is 18.7 which indicates that the measures of the organization in the field of knowledge management is not effective. Such measures don’t lead to innovation. Scores below 30 indicate that the organization was not successful in gaining knowledge and its activities in knowledge gaining don’t lead to innovation. Taking into account the terms 1 to 6 which are about knowledge gaining, the activities of the organization shall be based on these features and these features shall be enhanced, so that the organization gets promotion in this field. 2.For the second question, the gained score is

(6)

innovation. The score of this question is less than the former which indicates that the organization is weaker in this field.

Terms 1 to 7 are about knowledge distribution and shows that the organization shall enhance its activities to get to innovation. Its activities shall be even stronger than in knowledge gaining. 3.For the third question, given the score of 15/09,

the measures of the organization is not effective in the field of knowledge management. These measures don’t lead to innovation. Score below 30 indicates that the organization is not successful in the field of responding to knowledge and it is even weaker than the two former terms. But taking into account the total score, the organization has got the ability to fulfill activities to establish knowledge management and reach innovation through planning.

4.For the fourth question, for the meaningful correlation between innovation and knowledge management, to answer this question, the general question of the level of acquaintance with knowledge management was used. And as mentioned in the beginning, the awareness level of the personnel on knowledge management and innovation was average leaning to low. To increase awareness, the organization shall have appropriate activities and planning in three aspects of knowledge management.

The results of the tests and analysis of research's hypotheses:

Main hypothesis:

There exists a meaningful relation between knowledge management and innovation. By using correlation test of spearman, and by the existence of high correlation coefficient, this hypothesis is approved and it is determined that there is a meaningful relation between the knowledge management and innovation in the Islamic Propagation Organization. However this relation was approved formerly, but this study was performed to review this feature in the Islamic

Propagation Organization, which shows that such relation exists in this organization.

Subsidiary hypotheses:

1-There is a meaningful relation between the knowledge gaining and innovation in this organization. By using correlation test of spearman, the correlation coefficient between knowledge gaining and innovation is 818, which is more than 0.05. so there is a meaningful relation between knowledge gaining and innovation which approves the hypothesis. 2-There is a meaningful relation between

knowledge distribution and innovation in this organization. By using spearman correlation test, the correlation coefficient between knowledge distribution and innovation is 833 which is more than 0.05, so there is a meaningful relation between knowledge distribution and innovation. So this hypothesis is approved.

3-There is a meaningful relation between responding to knowledge and innovation in this organization. By using spearman correlation test, the correlation coefficient between responding to knowledge and innovation is 825 which is more than 0.05, so there is a meaningful relation

between responding to knowledge and

innovation. So this hypothesis is approved.

[IV] DISCUSSION ANDCONCLUSION:

In fact, and solidarity between different aspects of knowledge creates the realities.

(7)

knowledge into three aspects of knowledge gaining distributing and responding to knowledge. Therefore, the organization, to get promotion and for better efficacy shall enhance these three aspects. Within the statistical society , to get to innovation and knowledge production, the organization shall target and plan in these areas. The organization shall make effort to develop the systems and benefit from the ideas of all its staff in the field of financial system. The organization shall be sensitive about the changes in the operating environment. The organization shall develop its cooperation with international organizations specially the Arab and Muslim states. The organization shall present the information freely and honestly to the personnel. The organization, to distribute knowledge, shall use special techniques such as articles, CDs, meetings, free discussions. The organization shall be sensitive toward addressees in a way to recognize their needs and evaluate them and respond to them. The organization shall be flexible toward conditions and opportunities and make best use of them. The organization, by competition in related fields cares to itself and participate in related acts with others.

In fact, the present research is fulfilled with the aim to review the relation between knowledge

management and innovation in Islamic

Propagation Organization. Given the importance of knowledge management and its role in innovation, the relation between knowledge management and innovation is studied based on Marcus and Simon Model in 3 aspects of gaining knowledge, distribution and responding to knowledge. For statistical analysis the all 3 aspects of innovation were used. To answer the hypotheses, the spearman correlation test was used. The hypotheses are approved and there is a meaningful relation between the knowledge management and innovation. Of course this relation has formerly been approved. The present research reviewed the existence of this relation in the Islamic Propagation Organization. For data gathering, the standard questionnaire was used

with local questions. Based on the results and analysis, this organization is able to reach innovation by more planning and services.
