Visiting Professor (PV) profile
• The PV will work on several activities that will allow the collective insertion of the researcher into the program. An annual work plan, which will be developed for 4 years, during which the international visiting professor will be at the School of Agronomy, is presented below:
• 1. Postgraduate teaching activities: the international visiting professor will teach courses every six months in the English language, with the active participation of PPGCTA students. The subjects will be linked to the research group and will be within the theme 'Sustainable Agrifood Chain'. The discipline of writing scientific articles in English is also foreseen, where the student can prepare and submit the article with previous results of the thesis/dissertation already in English. The forecast is for 2 subjects per semester, with 4 subjects offered annually at the PPGCTA (https://ppgcta.agro.ufg.br/).

• 2. Participation in PPGCTA qualification and conclusion papers: participation and insertion of the visiting professor in PPGCTA student panels, and also collaborating with other UFG programs.
• 3. Creation of the international research group 'Sustainable
Agrifood Chain': it is expected that the visiting professor will
be included in research by this CNPq research group, guiding
PPGCTA students, also contributing to PPGCTA faculty with the
transfer of knowledge and innovation.

• 4. Guidance for PPGCTA students: the international visiting professor will guide 1 master's and 1 doctoral student annually, either with co- advisory partnerships, or as main advisor in PPGCTA's selection process notices. As he will be at the PPGCTA for 4 years, he will be able to be the main advisor of 2 master's students and 1 doctoral student, however he must have partnerships with PPGCTA professors. The research projects that will be developed by the PV at the PPGCTA will be in line with the research group mentioned above, with the objective of strategic innovations that lead to an increase in the sustainability of the agrifood chain in the country, for the benefit of society. An example of a project to be developed would be the use of agro-industry residues, through the development of new products to be used as ingredients or in the synthesis of materials from agro-food industry residues. The PPGCTA has hundreds of published works (among them [1-5]) by permanent professors in the 3 lines of research, who fit into this theme and who could collaborate with the PV.

• 5. Organization and Participation in events: the visiting professor must participate in the organization of PPGCTA student follow-up activities, during the events that are held bimonthly at the School of Agronomy, which will lead to a collective inclusion of the researcher in the Program. It should also organize together with the coordination, PNPD scholarship holder, teachers and students of PPGCTA 01 Workshop in the second year of contract (2023). This event will be a great opportunity and there will be the participation of researchers and students from PPGCTA, UFG and other national and international universities. The theme addressed in this Workshop will be with themes related to the research group 'Sustainable Agrifood Chain', and will have lectures open to the public, presentation of papers, dissemination of research carried out at the PPGCTA. This event will also feature the participation of companies, agribusinesses, HEIs involved in work at the PPGCTA.

• 6. Writing and Publication of scientific articles: visiting professors must publish scientific articles in international journals qualis A1 to A4, arising from research carried out at the PPGCTA during their stay.
• 7. Other support activities: the professor - visiting researcher should also be included in activities other than the PPGCTA, such as participating in the planning and execution of the PPGCTA Self-Assessment, supporting the professors and students if they need it in specific points of the research.
