SELECTION OF THE TOPICS FOR THE TECHNICAL

DISCUSSIONS TO BE HELD DURING THE XXV AND XXVI

MEETING OF THE DC

THE 24th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Bearing in mind the provisions of Rules 7, 8 and 9 of the Rules for Technical Discussions,

RESOLVES

1. To select the topic "Coordination between social security systems and public health" for the

Technical Discussions to be held during the XXV Meeting of the Directing Council of PAHO,

XXIX Meeting of the Regional Committee of WHO for the Americas.

2. To select the topic "Drugs: Incidence of drugs in health costs. National and international

problems" for the Technical Discussions to be held during the XX Pan American Sanitary

Conference, XXX Meeting of the Regional Committee of WHO for the Americas.
