RESOLUTION

CD25.R4

TOPIC OF THE TECHNICAL DISCUSSIONS, 1978

THE 25th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having examined Document CD25/15, presented by the Director, which contains information

regarding the topic selected by the Directing Council in its XXIV Meeting for the Technical

Discussions to be held during the XX Pan American Sanitary Conference in 1978; and

Bearing in mind Resolution XI approved by the Executive Committee at its 78th Meeting,

RESOLVES

1. To adopt the title "The Impact of Drugs on Health Costs: National and International Problems"

for the topic of the Technical Discussions to be held during the XX Pan American Sanitary

Conference in 1978.

2. To request Member Governments to cooperate fully with the Bureau to ensure the success of the

Discussions.
